I don’t know if you will see the chat or even see these comments here, but two parishioners at the end of today’s Christmas Day service online chat suggested that the camera person focus more on Marc Dickey when he’s playing his great organ music at the end, rather than a picture of the west window. Can you or someone pass along that input to the camera person? Many thanks!

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, I’ve been juggling many different family traditions - our wonderful family dinners both days, Christmas movie nights, our stocking and present opening on Christmas Day morning, doing tons of dishes from those dinners, etc. etc. I was able to see and listen to both the First Church 2022 Christmas Eve and Christmas day morning services on UA-cam at different points throughout Christmas Day. I was able to sing along with the great familiar Christmas carols and songs (I have the bass part memorized for most of these songs!). Rev. Anne, for the Christmas Day service you really outdid yourself! Wow! I am so impressed and realize how lucky we are to be having your leadership for our church community right now. Thank you! You did a masterful job of creating a meaningful service - with a strong spirit of spontaneity, divine order or serendipity, and seeking all the wonderful inputs from both the in-person and livestream congregations, thereby tapping into group wisdom. It was all wonderful and beautiful and honestly one of the best Christmas Day services I have ever experienced. God bless you, and God bless all at First Church!
