Alaska Cruise - Princess Cruise - Ruby Princess - Virtual Walk - Skagway AK
Second port of call on the Ruby Princess Alaska cruise, Skagway Alaska. We walk into town, passing past the White Pass train as it returns from an excursion. Skagway is a very historic frontier town with many buildings preserved dating back to the 1890's and early 1900's. Other than the White Pass excursion train their are lots of other activities and tours available as well as many sites to see in Skagway. There are lots of stores, and several restaurants and pubs as well as the Historic buildings and a Museum with an old White Pass steam engine on display. This is a very interesting and historic town set in rugged wilderness and still has a frontier feel about it.
