@@usecontroller3387 indeed, was never a fan of "cinematic" games so the more action packed 1 and 2 is where ill stay.

I played the older games recently ,and I love the combat in the newer gow4 a lot more, the older games were just mindless hack and slash, the newer ones has more souls like combat, which prioritises dodging parrying , and the combos are so much better in the newer games

@@nisi769 i can respect that. im not saying the combat in itself isnt good. the problem for me is its not the same game as it use to be that brought people in in the first place. now the game caters to an entirely different audience. also as you said its "souls like" and the last thing i want god of war to be is souls like. dont get me wrong i absolutely love the dark souls series but i dont want other games with their own distinctive gameplay styles to shift towards that just because its the popular thing to do. i can tell you i dont look forward to a future where every fighting game is souls like and every shooter is a battle royal. also it may be mindless hack and slash for you but for me, much like some of devil may cry games or mortal kombat, you can choose to put thought in to it and it becomes a very satisfying hack and slash game. the difference between mashing buttons and mastering combos in a brutal action packed game is what ive come to know and love it for not a drama packed slow paced theatrical performance. some people dont need to have their thoughtfulness in a game handheld by the game mechanics.

@@usecontroller3387 mate, thats what street judas said when he fought usman the first time... He got decapitated in the second fight. Believe me casual, masvidal is not a great or above average fighter. He just a good fighter who had one good win against a top 10 in darren till and 2 wins against very beatable opponents in askren and nate. Once he tasted actual competition he drowns and die
