Quickest/most low effort way to make coins for me is to put on a hard hat, grab your GOLD puffle (they find more money) and go digging at the mine by using D key, every spot can be anywhere from 500-1000 coins, you just move around to different spots when you can't find any more coins in that spot, and bam, you have several thousand in just a few minutes. Your gold puffle will dig next to you in the gold mine and find coins with you, when he's not finding stuff I click the money emoticon under the puffle actions and you can get him to dig every other minute anyways. I'll take about 30 mins to an hour to dig in the mine with my puffle when I login and I have enough to buy all the monthly items every time!

If playing on CPJ, cart surfer is much faster. On CPJ it only gives you about 4k coins max even with stamps

I've been trying to do this for around 20 attempts and only came to the shark when he suddenly jumped on me from nowhere, but thanks to you I've learned to use left click when hitting icebergs lol made it first try with it.

This was insane used your method and died at 19460 in my first go (I actually nearly cried) Second attempt and ive done it only losing a life to the Shark. Thanks for the awesome vid, but on a serious note this has actually caused quite a bit of strain in my elbow keeping the mouse held in for 20 mins. God knows how kids did it back in the day.
