I enjoyed your sermon and glad to see that you have a heart for the lost and dying and that people needs Jesus and I definitely mean no disrespect with this long text, however you almost ripped my heart out when at 21:00 you said we should live by all the commandments except one. The one you was referring to is the only one that says to Remember. You are correct in saying that the fourth commandment isn’t echoed in the New Testament BUT all the disciples kept the Sabbath for years after the crucification and is recorded in the New Testament that they kept it over 50 times. Let me say if I was driving down the road with my two kids in the back seat and they are wonderful kids that never fight, why would I tell them to not fight? Same principle here, the disciples and the Jews were keeping the Sabbath so why would they need to be reminded to keep it? You are also correct in saying that keeping the commandments will not save us BUT if we are saved we should want to keep all of the commandments. The first four commandments tells us how to love the Lord and the last six commandments tells us how to love our fellow man. At 1740 you referred to keeping A Sabbath but there is a huge difference between “A Sabbath “ and “The Sabbath “ You a absolutely correct in saying that the ceremonial laws point to the cross and the moral laws point back to creation but you mixed the fourth commandment in with the ceremonial laws which was done away with at the cross when it is actually included in the moral laws ( 10 commandments). You refer to Colossians 2:16-17 Here Paul is talking to new recruit Gentiles and the Jews was trying so hold it against them because they weren’t following Jewish traditions of keeping feast days and holy days which we agree on that they were done away with at the cross . If you notice verse 16 is talking about meat or drink an holy day new moon and sabbath days ( plural) which is definitely talking about the ceremonial laws ( see Ezekiel 45:17)and the fourth commandment doesn’t talk about any of that and the fourth commandment refers to The Sabbath as a singular day of the week not sabbaths (plural) and it points back to creation. (Exodus 20:8-11 please note verse 11) Matthew 7:14 (KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. We must diligently search the scriptures because the Bible says few there be that find it. The ESV and some of the other versions say the way is hard but it really isn’t hard it’s just a narrow path and not everyone will find it. Matthew 7:14 (ESV) For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. I live in the Greenville area and have been to your church and love it and all the wonderful things City Impact Greenville dose and your mission. Keep up the good work that you guys do and may God richly bless all that you do.

Jesus said, 🎵' come to the water, stand by my side.. I know you are thirsty, You won't be denied.' And I felt every tear drop, When in darkness you cried. And I strove to remind you, For those tears ... I died✝️🎵 The funny thing is... The church isn't walking in the Milk of the word 😕 Giving excuses... Sadly. But let me say that I have been delivered of a cigarette addiction. Delivered and set free with no withdrawal because I couldn't do it on my own. I cried out to Jesus and said I desire to free from smoking and that I was sorry for even starting that way of life. I also was dead. In a medical comma and the doctors told my Mom and spouse to make funeral plans because there was nothing left to do. In my darkness a light came in my mind. I knew immediately that it was God, ( Jesus) . I cried and said I don't want to die yet. I'm affraid I'm going to hell. Immediately I woke up. My spouse and mom wasn't there. They went home for the night. I got up. I took off some of the wires and I remember looking out the window and talking with Jesus. After that, I was born again in Jesus Christ. The Gifts are real. He has given gifts to men and women. I pray for the Holy Spirit to teach and lead this church into all truths. And for the people to represent Jesus as they go out into the city of Greenville and surrounding areas.
