Thank u so much
Thank you
They should make this the training video!! I mean that!! My last company actually had an app on the tablet called workflow. Which is better than this imo, but the pay is better here. 😆 i think i got confused because of the word "call" being behind everything. The last company's workflow had everything on one page. But you did have to click continue to get to the next section. Thank you for keeping this video up!
First day at Crete, you’re a life saver!
Guys just skip to 3 minutes
How do you get yours to operate so quick? Mine tremble ELD goes so slow
I restart mine everyday. That seems to help. So before I get my day started, I restart it, certify my logs and request logs. Doing that seems to keep it running good
Just got new tablet in yesterday, thanks so much for showing & explaining work flow process. You’ve been more help than any other tablet video, or trying to get help from office🤘🤘
Only been running refer for a month and this video saved me from making that call to the company. Thank you my man
Thank you
Another great video Rob....
Bob , I love your content. Very informative and to the point about the topic....not filled with unnecessary monologues about nothing. You should have tens of thousands more views on your channel......Keep the content coming. I'm planning on getting back into a truck OTR after 20 years so this info you have is Gold.....Cheers!
I loved it! He even shows you what not to do!😂.
I am coming to Shaffer next week but there is not a lot of info on Shaffer trucking. I been a tanker yanker driver for ten years. Can you spare a few minutes and give me an idea of how is Shaffer idifferent meaning like company culture, equipment, miles and etc.
Company culture is easy...very family like. Communication is key...equipment is mostly freightliner and a few kw..they get the job done..most equipment is 3 years or newer...trailers are all air ride. Miles varies..i dont do resets..i run recaps and average about 3k to 3200 a week...i dont turn any loads down..mostly because i know not every marketbis great and a shitty run can put you in a better area.
Mr Shaffer cooking Rob
Gotta eat right
Hi, why carrier unit is so noise, is there anything can be done y o reduce the noise
Age has alot to do with it. Also maintenance. You have to get the regular maintenance done or it willbsound shitty
Rob! You’re one of my favorite trucking UA-camrs. Hope you’re staying safe out here on the road!
Just doing it!... thanks for the comment and support. I really appreciate it!
Thank you for the update. I'm a retired Crete Driver. This is very good. I'm heard many stories about this. Not as bad as I thought. I'm an old Qualcomm driver. This is very interesting. Looks like I missed it before I retired. Great job.
I like it the best between qualcom peoplenet and instinct
Bro you saved me man closing before it starts really works
All good bro...just give a like and follow so i can keep going
Mannnnnn!!!!!! You definitely the 🐐 for this video‼️‼️‼️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Appreciate it..just give a like and follow so it helps
Leaving orientation today thanks for the walk through 👍
No worries. Good Luck and Welcome.
When it's come to capacity, some units stronger than others, different sizes of compreser talk to me about that
I just got the new tablet installed in my truck at the Kansas City terminal a couple of days ago. You're video and just randomly pressing buttons has helped me navigate the essentials, I really appreciate your video. I was wondering though, how do you get to messages? I've stumbled upon them occasionally, but sending a freeform to dispatch isn't something I've been able to figure out. I like the new tablet, but I miss the Trimble units that just had messaging and log buttons.
At the bottom right corner of messages...you see new+...touch it and youbwill see text...that is the freeform to dispatch
so you would suggest RM over Garmin, and also does Crete have gps turn by turn navigation on the tablet
The gos in the tablet is turn by turn. However its still a bit buggy. And yes I always recommend RM over garmin. RM produces the map books we use and they are super accurate. It only makes sense to use RM GPS. Besides the TND 750 has all the info in it thats in the book to include bridge law and pertinent contact info by state. Very very handy. Good Luck and thanks for watching!
I just got my tablet last night. How do I do my pre trip and post trip inspects?
As far as logging them?
@@shafferrobtrucking4075 Yes, I got my logs dept to assist in what they want! thank you for the reply!
Just curious do you use the navigation on the tablet and is it any good???
I use it for point to point...i.e. shipper to consignee. So far so good. I will start adding in waypoints like fuel stops next week. Ill do an update soon. Thanks for watching.
I just got out of orientation and l thank you so much for making this vid... It helps alot, with all that we have to remember being a newbie to Crete!!
Thank you for this information 😎
No worries..be safe!
Good advice
Thank you bud!
Thank you for the information
Rob I've been having trouble with the loads not being send their was no send arrow
What do you mean?
It it possible to back feed fuel with a 12 volt pump through the fuel pump return line and crack the fuel line nozzle nuts or pressurize the pump ? I have no experience with refrigerated trailers .
It may be possible...but i do believe you would actually be better off just doing it the designed way. Safe travels!
Thank you for making your videos!
It seems like there's more unnecessary steps. Why can they just make it more simple. Waste of time unnecessary shit. For real
Not sure..but i see the work flow and benefit of it IF it worked correctly...besides still has underlying bugs in it..especially if picking up tcalled loads...it still shows the original shipper and not your tcall location. I jave a list of bugs
@shafferrobtrucking4075 yea true they need to work on those issues. Great video, tho. It really helps some people who are not using the workflow 100% . In my point of view, they need it to keep testing until all the bugs are fixed .
How is the gps on the new tablets just curious does it take on non truck routes at all??
Not that ive seen as of yet. But im still testing it every trip and will post a 30 day into it video soon.
Good informative information for new instinct tablet 😊
Thanks rob that helps
Good content
Thanks for this I really appreciate it I like to see and do it at the same time the video on the table doesn't allow me to do it that way but you was really helpful I drive for Crete.
Anything to help
Realize this is a older video, but spot on
Great video demonstrating how to show the latest bypass instructions! Thanks!
👍🏿
Sound is good
Good morning sir
Good Morning
Very informative. But Rob, next time do the video in wide angle and with some more light!😆
Thank you my guy. Followed your steps and got it humming. Sweetest music to my ears.
Thank you kindly.
Glad it helped..like and share or subscribe to help me out. Thanks
Carrier on this video definitely sounds much much better
Thanks you just saved my load. This tutorial really help me start the reefer 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
They both have their up n downs. But as a reefer tech, I perfer working on carrier more...they both break down. And they both do a good job, carrier is just a bit better
Great video mannn . Saved my day was n the sleeper and thought I could wait until the morning 😂 2 fuel ⛽️ the trailer shutting off woke me right up out of it .. informative video this was appreciated…
