If only Zek hadn't intervened to make Jaina's rifle shot miss Vergere, maybe Jacen's fall to the dark side would not be so sure..! During his time as a prisoner of the Vong, Jacen was repeatedly tortured by Vergere, leaving deep psychologic/spiritual scars...

Luke shouldn't have let this team of young Jedi to do such an impossible task... These Jedi were the future of the order, among them werre all 3 of the Solos! Not only did the order lose Anakin, but these devastating events were the starting point of Jacen's fall to the dark side..

One of the best novels from the NJO and the war against the Yuzan Vong, in my opinion. Many important moments taking place in this novel, for future stories also...

I absolutely love the Star wars stories they're just the best. But God dammit these Jedi are so naive I know their children but s*** you can't fight a war only doing good

I got to say that in this book Luke Skywalker emulates my grandmother very well. She doesn't think anyone's ever wants to be a bad person they just made a mistake.

Mara Jade is such a great character. It’s a shame we never got to see her in live action. Disney had a winning formula with the EU. They could have made billions by adapting all these amazing stories.

After Part 1, listening to this guy drone on is getting unbearable, but the writing and action in these two books has been really entertaining. And I know the next part has a different voice so, I know it gets easier. Also love the dark humour at 31:20 too lol and so many other moments after that. Всё что Дисней смог - это криво скопировать основной конфликт, что сын Хана Соло и Леи ушёл на Тёмную Сторону Силы. Ну в Старом Каноне это Джейсен Соло/Дарт Кейдус, а в Новом Каноне это Бен Соло/Кайло Рен

Can someone drop a timestamp where the fall of Coruscant takes place?

Just finished this book. Very first book I read in this series was Traitor, years ago, and so have been going back and reading the first half of the series recently. Epic book, absolutely hair raising moments and absolutely heart pumping right to the end. My only wish was that Lucas hadn't objected to Anakin being the main hero of the story. (See the interview at the end of Unifying Force for this information) The writers did their best to make him significant after this book, but feels like an unnecessary waste of a great character.
