"Two Springs Left" - Slow Blues Improvisation.

I took out one of the springs in the back of my JEM77P, to make the trem more loose and have the feel more similar to my RG3570Z. I'm still getting used to this guitar, but it feels a little more like "home" now (home being my RG3570Z). Instead of 3 springs for the trem, there are only 2 now. I have my JEM77P tuned to Eb, which I'm not used to, so it requires a bit of thinking at times. Feel fr...

Not his best work. I can see he’s trying to catch a Numb vibe but it’s kinda clumsy imho
I really like this song, but to each their own of course - I know it's originally written by Mongolfier Brothers, but I like the vibe David and his daughter bring to it 😁
Noooo i just spent a week getting that epic melody/song out of my head ., Thanks for nothing 😂
Sorry not sorry 😂 It's a wonderful song!
@@Cloudburzt it's amazing out of this world magic. And you made it sound cool 👍

@Cloudburzt Have nice weekend ❤️👍❤️

Sounds perfect. Di Marzio Pickup's?
Yeah, they are Tone Zone, True Velvet and Air Norton :)
Very cool warm up, you sound like my favorites on YT, great man. By the way what is this piano/keyboard? I have a Yamaha DX7 . Greetings
I sometimes forget I've uploaded a lot of videos on here. Thank you for your kind words! It's an Akai MPK88. But it's getting a bit old by now. I've been thinking about getting an Arturia KeyLab 88 MkII at some point instead, but I don't play much keys or piano - only a little.
well done sounds very good. Good performance. I play Ibanez too ;) greetings from germany
Thank you, Rudy! I subscribed to your channel too - I will check out your videos soon! I love my Ibanez guitars, they're the best I've played :)

Very Gilmour indeed. Love the entire thing.
@@techniqueswithtodd Thanks, Todd! I put in a bit of harmonic minor spice at times. That's a bit of Ben flavor added, which doesn't hurt 😎

Great 👍👍🤘🤘

Smukt Benjamin!🔥
Aw, tak! Det er sødt sagt :D
Sounds good, but looks like it magically appears on the page to me? I was looking to see how the connections happen: interface to GP and it might be very simple to do? Thanks and you sound great!!!
There's no interface into Guitar Pro - but I think you can possibly do that with a midi keyboard/midi guitar or any kind of midi setup. I'm just typing in the notes via the numpad on the regular computer keyboard - there's not really any magic happening, just the same as you would in a Word document :)
@@Cloudburzt Thanks for your reply. My first guitar is being shipped to me from Amazon, so no experience yet. Thanks again!!!
@@sweetdragon36067 My pleasure! Which one did you buy? 😊
@@Cloudburzt I got one of the Fesley guitars as a starter. It had a lot of good reviews for it. I didn't want to invest a lot of money on the first guitar, but didn't want a bad, cheap guitar. I also purchased guitar pro version 8. Been playing drums for a few decades, but never got into music theory. Thanks

Tak! Kender du Psychotic Waltz? Har også for nyligt lagt et cover op af deres sang "Little People". 😁

Are you able to start the play button via midi controller or from ableton? So I could have sheet music running while playing a show and it‘s in sync with the playback?
With MidiKey2Key you can assign a hotkey like the play-hotkey (it's ctrl+spacebar, I think) and tie that to a midi controller within the MidiKey2Key software. I'm not sure what you're able to or not able to within Ableton as I've never used it. I'd guess you'd have to tie some kinda midi-out from Ableton to the ctrl+space.
@@Cloudburzt cool let me try it!
I preordered this album because of this song but the entire album is actually very, very good.
Yeah, I really like the album too! Thanks for checking this out!
Anyone who can play PW is an instant subscribe!! Love your tone, my friend!
That's why I subcribed to your channel - I saw your Into The Everflow solo cover. Thanks for subscribing back! I'm trying to learn the whole album, and then maybe on to A Social Grace. I don't ever really learn covers, but Psychotic Waltz was a big motivation for me when I started playing more seriously back around ~2004. I just never learned their songs as I usually stayed in standard tuning (and learned some Dream Theater stuff), but I got a new guitar recently (the one in the video) and decided to dedicate it to Psychotic Waltz songs :D
Pure awesomeness as always !!!
Thank you, Todd! Small mistakes here and there, but it's good enough for now. I'm planning to cover the whole album, so I'll probably redo some stuff when I get more songs learned. I rarely learn covers as you might have noticed, but I'm having fun learning the songs from this album. I learned about this band back in maybe 2004, and I used to listen to them A LOT, almost as much as Dream Theater, but the songs of Psychotic Waltz are mostly in Eb, and I thought it would just a pain to go between Eb and E standard constantly, so I mostly stuck to E standard and Dream Theater. Thank you for always being so supportive!
Good job nigga
Well done, great solo! (How long have you been playing?) Also you're definitely not the first to get overtaken by emotion from this song. Romany has one of those voices, beautiful, haunting, vulnerable.
@@jaywhy3178 her voice is fantastic, indeed! I can't wait to hear more from her! I've played 21 and a half years or so by now, but mostly so in the first 5 years and in the last 7-8 years. I love Gilmour's style, but as many guitar players it's easy to get carried away and overplay. I tried to hold back here. Thank you for your nice comment 😊

Came back to hear it again and it's still spiff!!!!!
Thank you!
Man I do guitars like this too starting recently because it's just easier for me but the drums are a whole other ball game. I think it's just easier for me at this point to use my midi controller for the drums and quantize lol. and go in the piano roll in the DAW after and change whatever I don't like
How you show and hide the drum notation tab below? Thanks in advance
In Guitar Pro 8, on the right hand side menu where it says "song" and "track", you click "track" and you can see three boxes that either show a 5 (tab), note (notation) and slash-notation. You will need to disable the "tab notation" there. If the right hand side menu isn't showing you can make it show in the top left corner where you see 3 buttons with a line on the left, bottom and right side. :) Let me know if that answers your question!

@@Cloudburzt Just after I left the comment I remembered where I think I know it from. Canon in D has a similar chord progression I think 🙏
@@giannieditsvideos Yeah, very similar vibe. I think canon in D is D A Bm F#m G D G A - off the top of my head. I think what I played was E B C#m G#m A E F#m Cdim, so very similar in the movement of the first 6 chords :)
It is very good
