You have an absolutely lovely collection. You keep saying "this style" when you should be referencing it as "this pattern"- in china and porcelain when you refer to "style" that is referencing the shape of the dishes, when you say "pattern" that is referencing the decorative accents, colours and patterns that are on the dishes. Royal Albert primarily use the same styles of tea pots and cups over and over and just change the pattern on them. I love your vlogs and your collection. Extremely beautiful.

My love of Old Country Rose was also inspired by my grandmother. Lovely collection! My husband also bought me a set from a local auction.

So special..mom gave me the tea set and a few things, 5 years before passing and I also connect tea with faith and bible study...both sweet childhood and older parties...very special. Thank you.

I too collect vintage teacups and I too lost my father, daughter, only sibling brother, and mother 🧓in 2009,2010,2012 and 2013 respectively. I am the last person alive in the family. So we have a lot in common, it would seem. I don’t know how long ago you lost your sister, but it always seems to me like yesterday when they all left. Time is the only thing that will make life a bit easier but even time can’t erase the sadness; it can only soften it a bit. Don’t listen to others and their advice on how long you should grieve either. Your sister was YOURS, and only you will decide the course of your grief.
