We saved Rob's video for last because we felt it was extra special. Enjoy as Mr. Compa goes through all of his gear, including his two beautiful PRS guitars. This rundown includes several examples of Dopapod's most p...

In celebration of the upcoming launch of the newly redesigned and improved llamamall.net, we are proud to present the third installment of our Dopapod rig rundown series. In this video we featured Dopapod's lighting designer/FOH engineer Luke Stratton. For those that don't already know, Luke is what we call a genius. Not only is he able to run sound and lights simultaneously, but he's also able...

In celebration of the upcoming launch of the newly redesigned and improved llamamall.net, we are proud to present the second installment in our Dopapod rig rundown series. This week's video features our good friend Chuck Jones. Chuck is a wealth of musical knowledge, despite being one of the most humble people we've ever met. He provides an incredible array of sounds that most bass players only...

In celebration of the upcoming launch of the newly redesigned and improved llamamall.net, we are proud to present the first installment of our Dopapod rig rundown series. This week kicks off with our beloved Eli Winderman. After getting to know Eli a bit, we at llamamall.net have determined that he is in fact, the nicest human being in existence. But don't let his happy demeanor fool you, his s...
What is he playing at 12:29 🤤
This guy analogs.
If you can tour with a vintage Hammond, you're winning
Rob making me feel sea sick at 4:27
I love Rob so fricking much. My second favorite guitarist of all time. The word humble gets tossed around a lot, mostly at fake humble people, people who consciously try to act humble. Rob is the genuine article. He loves playing guitar more than anything in the world, and more than most people who love playing guitar. The reunion show was so good, seeing how happy he was to be back with Chuck and Fro and Eli on a stage. So talented, so passionate, so genuine, so pure and humble and fun.
His tone has really grown on me. It's subtle but recognizable.
In some ways I prefer the Prodigy to the D
Dude got a vintage dream keyboard rig!!
This drummer was great, they shouldn't have gotten rid of him
Hot Rhodes
def good band, funky zappa-esque all sorts of goodness : )
Solution=Nord Stage 3.
That's EXACTLY what I was thinkin.
I still can't forgive myself for selling my Rhodes MK2 and Juno 60 in the mid 90's for digital gear. No one wanted heavy analogue gear then .....grrr
Malloon?
Ya'll ready for this! :)
damn that Bluetooth is nasty!
tip of the hat dabs on the way out quick if treats don't stop training, response from the jewma vb show
but would chuck die for ricky martin?
simply tops NICE !!!!!!!
Anyone know if the drummer was playing in another band while he was not with pod. If so what are they called i wanna check them oout
he had a few different projects going on. One of them is Elephant Wrecking Ball, I believe.
Taken from his Twitter bio: "Drummist of many bands, Elephant Wrecking Ball, MOM AND DAD, Cashed Fools. Do you want one of these?"
Thanks man. Surprisingly haven't heard of any of these. Can't wait to explore
Thanks. I appreciate it
he plays with Tubby Love as well, reggae really good!
Very Enjoyable video. Thank you for sharing. Making the transition to MA from M-Series.
Do you use any special software to interface the APCs into GrandMAonPC?
Yes - he uses grandMA on PC but also uses his own custom scripting to map out everything onto an APC. Check him out on facebook for more info - "Luke Stratton Designs"
More like dope with an iPod!
What's that jawn at 35:00??
that would be the Weird Charlie, shits tight
Doy you really work for Dopadope? You dope!
We do not "work" for dopapod in that we do not travel with them and do not get paid for what we do - but we put in a lot of work for the fans and the band's benefit, which is truly the ultimate goal!
Wait? is FRO back????
He is indeed!
He came back mid 16'. Just in time for Dopapod to leave... :(
Amazing how most of the pros with big rigs like the older stuff. They can have anything they want and stay vintage. I'm the same way. Still playing a Korg 01W/FD and a Hammond XK2. The newest thing I added was a Neo Ventilator 2 Leslie simulator box. If you have a clonewheel organ, get the Vent 2.
I want to like this so bad. But it just sounds soulless in the same way that Umphree's is soulless. It's all math no heart. Boring.
why try so hard to like them? the same artists you find "boring" may evoke very different emotions in others. dopapod and umphrey's aren't for everyone! you're probably looking for something like twiddle or my morning jacket.
Jurney Metatron they aren't for everyone. I think they are great!
Jurney Metatron wow? Soulless??? This shit sounds so good to me... it's a bit soundtribe-y... in that there r def some patterns but this shit is so tight...it's party jam after party jam and the key player is all over the place... I just found these guys and I will b for sure checking them out... haha.. and I don't like umphrees at all that's why I had to comment.. because they do sound real empty and boring... so u made me think I'm def missing something... gonna try these guys more sober 2maro and see if I'm with ya!!
Jurney Metatron completely disagee
people just aren't used to how in-sync the Umphrey's guys are with each other that it seems soulless, when it's just as passionate but complimented with impeccable musicianship and precision.
1:08:09 high five dude, you're awesome.
Very ballsy, warm, dynamic tones!

llamamall.net I love you
why is 2 Unlimited Get Ready For This labeled Dutch Group 2 Y'all Ready For This?
I'd like to say it's because us llamamall folks are dutch...but that was on the official setlist. Good catch.
what kind of phaser was that? sounds good
It's the blue Maxon phaser.... pretty much a phase 90 clone.
@@Sco3000 they used to be cheap! Like, $40 used. Cant find em used anymore and if you do they're $120+
Wow what a heater set
The rig every keyboardist dreams about everyday.
Yeah, and the rig very few wants to carry around...
@@matszh Nord Stage: "Allow me to introduce myself"
Hi,Do you have a trackball to the grandma2 software? how is your setup? how do you set the trackball to ma, so you can control pan/tilt with it.
Muy buena tu MA2 Saludos
It kind of surprises me that people still use this board. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten great mixes on that mixer, but with the X32 and other budget mixers you get so much more for close to the same amount of money. I do get it, if a band has it and they don't want to spend the money on a new board, but it is still surprising to me.
+David Jaycox They use a midas pro2 now. Haven't used the presonus board in a year or so.
Can someone tell me what song starts at 20:20
look at all the bro tanks in the front row too cool to dance or show any sort of enthusiasm... i was at this show a few rows back and i was in my zone!! saw them at scamp exactly two weeks prior to this im getting massive flashbacks ... thx for the upload
Saw them in Toronto! Incredible band ). Thanks for sharing xoxo
WHERE DID THE ODESZA SET GO??
Amazing set guys!
Wow... Congrats Dopapod on that ginormous crowd.
that trapper keeper.... WOOF
For a second I thought Dopapod played for 5 and a half hours haha. It wouldn't be that surprising...
that dopapod cheeer THOUUU! fuckk yeah!
Man, I love Rob's new guitar. After some digging I think it is this model...maybe even this exact guitar. www.wildwoodguitars.com/products/cs203303.php?CategoryID=341
Corey Roberts Definitely a CS - 336! Such a beauty.
The replay starts at 4:11:50
