I love the older trials bikes I am not a fan of the stopping and jumping the bike about as it happens today. I rode Ty 250a, B and C in clubman, RL250 specials, Honda TL 250 and my last twin shock was a Italjet 250cc and even owned a SWM with the Rotax 380cc engine which was once owned by a New Zealand champion. To be honest the best wee bike I did ride was a TY 175 perfect bike for trials.

Getting outside and enjoying some trials with friends on a not particularly nice November day. Very good.

Only just watched this footage now but just recognized an old trials mate on his technicoloured fantic good to see everybody enjoying themselves ,might have to dust off my old trials bike and join in the fun, keep up the good work stay safe.

On behalf of Yorkshire Classic MCC thanks for the video. Good mix of riders and machines. As you say above there are two routes in our Pre-Unit trials but the aim is that the main route is set at a medium Clubman standard and the second route is the easier 'Gentle' route marked with white flag variations aimed at beginners, seniors and recovering riders with green numbers showing. With all the recent rain this trial was a bit harder than usual but not dangerous. Our Championship events have 4 routes Premier (hard), Intermediate (50/50 mix of the hard and clubman), Clubman and easier Gentle. Thanks again.

LOL after a bunch of bikes ran by, I though "where's the yellow Ossa, and where's the Cotton", and the next bike was that white Cotton. I was hoping to see the blue Cotton with the glass tank. I got to ride one once, a l-o-n-g time ago. but there was nothing around to climb over. it was a classy and pretty bike. in 79 I bought a new blue 350 Sherpa. it's long gone. had a Honda TL250 before the Sherpa. I sure miss those trias days. looks like you guys had a good day.

I really want to try trials riding I've ridden road bikes for near 40 years but only ridden off road as a kid. Is it easy to get into and how do I go about joining a club? I'm only in Chorley so Bolton isn't far off, would I get tips off other club members to get started? Thanks Martin
