Remember this as school minibus

Many a happy days spent there after cycling from Grimsby in the early 1970s to watch the Lightening Rocket down the Runway then climb near vertical. Happy Memories from the so long ago, yet it seems like only yesterday to me. Happily retired now and living in Sunny Essex.

I had an issue with this board that took me a week to figure out. The firmware wasn't updated along with the bios. The firmware failed to install with that version of the bios, and the bios flashback wouldn't go back to the previous version. I finally tried flashing the first bios and it took. From there I was able to fully update both the firmware and bios in the correct order.

Wish I could stack food like that. LOL Magpies are very pretty birds!

I have a transit mk7 it's 140bhp. I would much prefer the 2.5d engine over the bag of sh&% it currently has. I also live in Wales, where it's 20mph everywhere. This engine would be perfect.

I spend every day riding with my dad in his Smiley until I was seven, then he swapped it for a mk6 and i got to ride in that for another 8 years so this sound is basically my childhood

First thing... check for leaks .

Outstanding engine, had a tranny 190 semi high top for 8 years, ran all over the country, never missed a beat. Went for a semi with a galvanized Wilco full length ladder roof rack, with ladder on back door access, than a high top. Last of the proper transits, last non ECU, trouble free transit. The only thing they did wrong was put a too small starter on it which can go wrong. Model before had a bigger over engineered starter. Easy belt change on these........R u bringing it to Scarborough? 👍

Rev's at 50-60mph are somewhat similar to my Corolla but the on Ford DI's it's well past the halfway mark on maximum RPM as they don't rev any higher than 4250RPM and if the engine is in decent shape with an empty load will do 90mph. Not sure about Luton box's though.
