External Lights of aircraft//How many types of aircraft lights are there?
All aircraft types are fitted with external lights of some description. The type, purpose and complexity of the lighting systems installed on the exterior of a particular aircraft vary in accordance with its size, role and normal flight environment. External lights, in general terms, serve one of three purposes:
to make the aircraft more visible to other aircraft,
to improve pilot visiblity during critcal phases of flight
to provide illumination for some other specific purpose.
to make the aircraft more visible to other aircraft,

Flight Director Modes ALT, VS, Climb //Altitude Select Mode //Vertical Speed
Переглядів 5433 роки тому
Altitude Select Mode Altitude Select Mode is comprised of Arm, Capture, and Track states. The Arm state can be selected while other vertical modes are active. It monitors aircraft closure rate towards the target altitude and determines the capture point. Capture generates commands for a smooth, low g acquisition of the target altitude. Track generates commands to maintain the target altitude

Flight Directors and Modes FD is an extremely useful aid that displays cues to guide pilot or autopilot control inputs along a selected and computed flightpath. The flight director usually receives input from an ADC and a flight data computer. The ADC supplies altitude, airspeed and temperature data, heading data from magnetic sources such as flux valves, heading selected on the HSI (or PFD/mul...

The autopilot does the actual moving of the airplane, whereas the flight director is the brains of the operation and makes all of the computations to determine what the aircraft’s attitude needs to be. Additionally, and importantly, it mentions above that the flight director usually displays indications to the pilot for guidance as well

Переглядів 13 тис.3 роки тому
A yaw damper is a device used on many aircraft (usually jets and turboprops) to damp (reduce) the rolling and yawing oscillations known as the Dutch roll . A yaw damper (sometimes referred to as a stability augmentation system) is a system used to reduce (or damp) the undesirable tendencies of an aircraft to oscillate in a repetitive rolling and yawing motion, a phenomenon known as the Dutch ro...
Autothrottle Lesson 2 // Autothrust // What is an Autothrottle?// What exactly is auto throttle?
Переглядів 3,9 тис.3 роки тому
It is a computer-controlled electromechanical type designed to control the thrust of an aircraft's engines within specific engine design parameters. The throttle position of each engine is controlled to maintain a specific value of thrust, in terms of either rotational speed (N1) or engine pressure ratio (EPR) or, a target airspeed, over the full flight regime from take-off to touchdown . It is...

What is Automatic Flight Control(Guidance) System (AFCS) ? Why Autopilot needed ? Aircraft fly under many conditions. External conditions can alter the desired flight characteristics of the aircraft. To maintain the desired characteristics of the aircraft, the pilot moves the control surfaces either manually or automatically. Multiple instruments in the cockpit feed vital information to the pil...
Fuel Quantity Indicating Systems//Capacitive type //Resistive type //fuel system Working principle
Переглядів 13 тис.3 роки тому
Electric fuel quantity indicators are more common than mechanical indicators in modern aircraft. Most of these units operate with direct current (DC) and use variable resistance in a circuit to drive a ratiometer-type indicator. The movement of a float in the tank moves a connecting arm to the wiper on a variable resistor in the tank unit. This resistor is wired in series with one of the coils ...
Fiber Optical & Ring Laser Gyro working principle. What is Sagnac effect ?
Переглядів 37 тис.3 роки тому
Classification Of Gyroscopes by Construction ? Both FOG and RLG are optical gyros, all based on the Sagnac effect. The difference is that one propagates in the fiber and one propagates in the cavity, and the ring laser gyro has high precision. The principle of fiber optic gyro is similar to ring laser gyro, but the various optical effects that actually occur make this method difficult to achieve.

What are the different types of gyroscope ? Lesson 2
Переглядів 4,3 тис.3 роки тому
A gyroscope, though a machine with plenty of moving parts, is actually a sensor. Its purpose is to keep the motion of a rotating part in the center of the gyroscope steady in the face of shifts in the forces imposed by the gyroscope's external environment. They are constructed so that these external shifts are counterbalanced by movements of the gyroscope's parts that always oppose the imposed ...
Gyroscope basic // Lesson 1

ELECTRICALLY-DRIVEN GYROSCOPE A spinning motor armature can act as a gyroscope. This is the basis for electrically driven gyroscopic instruments in which the gyro rotor spin is powered by an electric motor. Three of the most common flight instruments, the attitude indicator, heading indicator, and turn needle of the turn and-bank indicator, are controlled by gyroscopes. To understand how these ...

Finally got it...nice explanation!
Thank you I enjoyed it and look forward to more
Wow, lots going on there!!!
Beautiful song, interesting info
Wow i gotta say this was very good video. Thank You Testing for my A&P Soon

Fun fact: when japan airlines flight 123 lost its tail it started a dutch roll
How is that the light doesnt move with the tubes ?
Light is moving toward the tube end and the tube end is moving toward the light. end (where the light detector is present to sense the light intensity)
@@aviation.animation That means there's an absolute reference frame, relative to which light is constant.
The music is so distracting…..
Loved it
Thanks
Excellent
I hope you changed your teaching method. The way you typewrites the text is extremely inefficient and boring
I leave teaching dear 😁.
I was flying a a320 in flight simulator pn pc. It was too Realistic too understand
Sad ! I stopped watching after the 2nd minute ! I can READ an operator's manual just as easily as I can read the text you type on a screen. If you can't make a video with a presenter and only one that the view has to READ the text on the screen, then this is a total waste of my time. And, honestly, a waste of your time too !
totally agree i skipped it also
better faster
Thats BS A description is not an explanation . The distance does not change if you rotate the device as you say . One beam travels faster not further and you provide no explanation why this happens since according to Einstein this should not happen
It does change because of rotation. I bet you're a flat earther.
Because light detector is traveling towards the beam,at one end , and moving away from other beam.
@@aviation.animation the distance s are fixed and if the speed of light is fixed then the motion should have no affect according to relativity. So what gives? Since observation tells us the Sagnac effect is a real thing and the distance between light source and detector does not change then the only variable is the light speed. This proves relativity wrong
@@nickmerix2900 no distance s is not fixed. The length of cabel is fixed but if the cable itself moves through space time the distance changes
@@4Abaddon4 explain what space time is and how a cable moves through it
great explanation but whats up with the creepy music
Thanks good explanation
Thanks
Nice soundtrack, feels like a menu song from an old fighter jet flight sim.
I just add 3, minus 1, divide by 4 and start counting up from there, usually gets me around in the ocean and fishing ponds around upper left east side near the bank on the middle of the ocean by my hometown in other side near there.
music name please
I don't remember the name but , will check it and inform you.
thsnk you
Welcome
Pitch sensitivity has everything to do with probe placement and nothing on the type of technology utilized. Small aircraft usually have one sender where a larger jet may have 17 probes throughout and a redundant system as capacitive system is prone to issues. Measuring picofarad changes with fuel is challenging. Fuel density , Fuel temperature, temp stratification, fuel makeup are all challenges you gloss over to make one appear better. Resistance is simple and given optimal placement can outperform capacitance as the electrical challenges are not easy``````. Capacitance cannot measure full fuel volume in a tank as a space needs to be maintained from these isolated components in the wing with separation so that a lightning strike does not pass through the tank .
Thanks
Very Nice Sharing....! Great effort ....! Excellent....!
bruh canada is bigger than china
Thanks for the video! A quick question. Since a skid is when "the tail outside the turn," we deflect the rudder further to the side of the tail to make the turn coordinate. Some people call it "stepping on the ball." Presumably, the ball should be on the outside of the turn in a skid. Then the visual aids in 5'55" - 6'02" might require a second thought?
Excellent Info....
Thanks
WRONG-the nautical mile is the lenght of one minute of a degree in geographical latitude (in about 45 degrees North or South) not in equator-thanks
