Can’t Fight This Feeling - REO Speedwagon
I think my love for this song as a child kinda explains why I turned out so weird 😂
Perhaps also explains why both my sister and I ended up marrying guys named Joshua 😳

Interesting that so many found this scary as kids! I was easily scared as a kid, but loved this song and never found it scary. My sister and I would act out the sounds in the dream 😆
A tribe of whaaat?
This song used to creep me out as a kid. Now as an adult, it makes me laugh, lol.
That’s too funny! What a brave raccoon! 🦝
0:54 OMG, Thomas wooden railway my childhood memory! 😍🤩😁😌
Raffi will always be ten million times better than the wiggles, now and forever
My weird ass teacher showed me this
@4:13 decades later I just got this joke.
My favorite part! Raffi is very clever. "Kid" song that some of which is only understood by adults.
He wants to play with trains
This song was pretty scary to listen to for me as a kid, especially the dream part with all the wacky wild animal sounds Raffi was making or whoever it was.
I spawn this song to my friend named joshua
All the comments saying this scared them as kids and it’s a trippy song..I’m here remembering laughing when I heard him say “poo” near the beginning! Lol
Yes!! I remember absolutely losing it for “big balloon bottom” and “a peanut hit him on the nose” 😅
Kevin. How peaceful.
It was a beautiful night.
The weird laughing always scared me.
Joshua Giraffe. 🎉
DO NOT WATCH; after watching this my child started crying into a mental breakdown and he suffered so bad of mental trauma that he needed physical therapy for a year; he tried running into a wall so hard after seeing this that he broke off some of his brain; thats how bad it is DO NOT WATCH
Great song. A classic.
I remember hearing this on the tape as an infant and didn't really remember the trippy dream part until years later when I re-listened.

i missed this! thanks for sharing!
No problem!! Glad you enjoyed it.
Raffi straight trolling at the end telling us not to be afraid even after all that trippiness
The settings may take place in a zoo, with amazing animals, but there’s a twist. This song is HAUNTED!!!! Scared me so much and it still does to this day
This Scared me so much
trash video good song
Annette Funnicello Lol. I always wondered what Funnicello was referring to in this song and I finally figured it out
Seeing all the comments here about how the midesection of the song used to scare the poop out of everyone as kids, I thought it was just me! But now as an adult who is also a musician of 25 years, I can greatly appreciate the music. In fact, I can now appreciate the fine musicianship of many of Raffi's songs.
Im looking this up cause i want to revisit scary times of my childhood. I was terrified of this . Still am. Im 37.
glad I'm not the only one
BEST SONG EVER
2:34 that noise haunted me. It gave me nightmares that a stuffed monkey was going to get me
Brilliant! Only just discovered 22Mar2020!
Been playing this song for my baby son. Hadnt heard it in 30 years... love the "get a net (Annette).... Funicello-hohohoho" - not sure many people catch that these days.
My little boy loved this music. He's been gone 3 yrs now, nice memories of easier days.
yo this was the only song i would listen to in the car
I first heard this song when I was drunk and blindfolded in a fraternity basement as part of our hazing practices. 10/10 would do again.
Can I use this video in an intro?
GiraffeyJosh Sure!!
My firstborn is Joshua. We loved this song! Classic Raffi.
This is the scariest song ever by Raffi. I was so afraid since
have you heard his song about Zombies?
@@emmaelson6770 That has nothing on this though. In fact that one is all in French and is much more fun and less vivid than this
@@exoticcar5482 That song frighted me so much when I was a kid
@@emmaelson6770 What was the scary part? I'm assuming the zombie sound effects
@@exoticcar5482 The disturbing imagery I came up with in my head. It was not zombies it was something even creepier. Something that........well I'd rather not say
The prophecy has come true.
This Josh was written about me bich
This is my first time hearing this song. My sister wouldn’t let me listen to it for some reason when I was little. She thought it would scare me. I just think it so weird.
Indeed. I mean even to this day, I still can't tell what the lyrics mean and the imagery is quite sketchy and trippy all the way through
I have a cousin named Joshua and he’s really tall so we sing this song to him all the time
Still a creepy song LOL!
A TRIBE OF NASTY SAVIARS
The part that probably freaked out way more kids than Raffi originally intended
I know this song and I hate this song
I still love this song lol
This is amazing! So funny. I remember this song when I was little!
the one time raffi did weed...
TheScarletIbisNW With a dosage of LSD, especially during Joshua's dream

Not sure my son liked it but I liked it! Nowadays what would kids think of this song?
That's a good question. All i know is Joshua's dream sequence scared me pissless for many years as a child and I'd ask my parents to turn the cassette over before this song came on. I'm sure different kids will have different reactions to this song, but I must say, even based on what others have said, that this song may have been a bit too creepy to put on a children's LP. I mean, listen to those animal sound effects! Those could make anyone's skin crawl, even if you know what's coming
My nephews (7 and 4) think it’s great!
