Every unit in the front line should have the flee mechanic on around 75 to 50 percent so they change aggro and don't get focused down so fast

im new to the game, i know most people have said to just follow story to get to max and then worry about gear etc. Any idea if it makes a difference if im level 28 and want to just max some weapons to go to this spot and piggy back off the other players? Will i still get the xp?

Theres an elite spot in one of the early areas. Where there is övl 30-35 elite mobs. Me and my mate do weapons from 1-20 in under 30 mins. We cant afk though but its stupid fast. Gives over 100 each mob and qe just pull the whole place

Good vid, good info. Little advice. Pull back from your mic. We hear every smack of your lips, every time you swallow, every breath, etc... You have no sound filter on your mic so you need to pull back about 6 inches from it and talk louder and more clear. Not trying to be an ass, honestly hope it helps. It's like sitting across the table from someone chewing with their mouth open.

Sunken city ( hero dungeon crawler ) Rise of the lich king ( awesome campaign continuing the story of Arthus) Custom factions ( extra playable races ) Footman frenzy ( just fun as hell ) In the past month these are the best I've found. I would love to hear some other great mods!

Good games! A suggestion. Use more chaff. In the first match, your stormcallers were effective because sledgehammers are a poor counter (too slow, range too short) and your opponent also didn't have any chaff. A few stacks of crawlers could have made you even more dominating, or if your opponent had used them, demolished your storms. Chaff can also protect your aggressively placed damage dealing units (phoenixes, second match), giving them more time on the field to attack. Your opponent won in large part due to the early round wins that were led entirely by crawlers defending his steel balls. Pull those long range air units back a bit and run some crawlers under them (especially against so many steel balls), or put up some wasps in front of them to absorb damage while the phoenixes kill from behind. Check out the channel Surrey Mechabellum and watch his video on doubling your MMR. It is excellent.

Hey man, good luck on your ranked journey! I started at 600mmr and I'm at 1200 - and I can 100% attribute it to watching Surrey Mechabellum, the rat! I made a document with screenshots from his videos and I followed them religiously along with notes: first round only buying chaff, only buying chaff in second round if I don't have to counter something, only loaning from round 7 and each round after (this was the most difficult to get out of my system, but it makes a huge difference!), if no unit drop on round 3 then always take an item because round 4 or 5 will be a big unit drop. Chaff: Fangs vs Sledge/Archs, Crawlers vs stangs / stormies. I like to play aggro, so I took a lot of screenshots of hit starting positions against different lineups etc. I've plateaued now and I'm not gaining MMR, but now I realise that his tips were not hard rules - they were simply things to stop low mmr noobs like myself from getting into a bad position and making simple mistakes. You can break all of those "rules" if they will gain you advantage, now I just have to identify what are and when I can take those advantages!

Question, was the description of this video Ai generated? Also mass recruiting snipers is not a 'unique tactic'. It's a common one. Few tips: Select a unit that you want to upgrade, and press U to upgrade them. You don't have to click upgrade. You can also press Control+U to upgrade all units of that type that are able to be upgraded. You took a Farseer but then didn't do anything with it. Farseers are a buff unit, they don't do much on their own, but their upgrades buff nearby units. You even later considered buying more despite not intending to buy their upgrades. Saying 'I don't want to use this yet, I don't know how it works'. How are you going to find out if you don't use it? You keep putting 'tanks' up against Steel Balls, which are Tank Killers. They do more damage the longer they attack one target, so large single units are their best target. You want more chaff, AKA cannon fodder units like Crawlers or Fangs to counter Steel Balls. You need to pay attention to what your enemy is building, not just keep building the same units that keep doing nothing. Steel Balls are smaller versions of Melting Points. Vulcans are also not tanks, they are pretty low hp units. You also aren't putting much thought into your card choices. On the last round you picked armor to increase a single unit's hp by 80%. You then put it on a level 1 Fortress, when you had another Fortress you could have leveled up to level 2 and put it on that. You really should have picked Photon Emissions instead, to give most of your army a 30% damage reduction, instead of increasing the hp of a single unit by 80% when it was just going to get melted by Steel Balls anyway. Not sure if you are aware, every level on a unit increases its damage and hp by 100%. So if a unit has 100 hp, they have 200 hp at level 2, then 300 hp at level 3, so on and so forth. Same goes for their damage. So you should be prioritizing building new units, then upgrading existing ones. Probably shouldn't have spent all that money on missiles on the final round when you could have upgraded Fortresses.
