Tracey is married to my 2nd cousin, Michelle. It still amazes me that he hasn’t been a big, big vocal recording star since 40 years now! Tracey has a wonderful 2nd tenor vocal range and impeccable pitch. To boot, he also has a really good vocal timbre and great enunciation. I was a professional musician who always liked trying to sing. I’m an “ok” vocalist - I don’t suck, but I was certainly never star vocalist material. Tracey on the other hand, is one of those rare, gifted souls whom was blessed with a spectacular natural vocal ability that far exceeds the average rinky-dink bar band wannabe singer. I haven’t spoken with, nor have I seen Tracey since 20 or 25 years, but I’m still an ardent admirer of his superlative vocal abilities. Lastly, Tracey was always confident and self assured, exuding an easy going charm, both on and off the stage. Yet, by my observation, he remained humble; lacking untoward pretentia or haughtiness - he simply loved music and honestly expressing it exceptionally well through song.
Great job gents! I’m from Maine, but I’ve got relatives in Newfoundland and I stop in Cape Breton to catch the ferry to cross the bay on my way up to visit. Love the Cabot Trail also 👍👍
