Even when the village with the hospital was surrounded by concrete pillboxes, he still used ordinary wooden houses as shelters for the infantry. And in the village with the railway station, for some reason, he decided to build a defense in the village itself, and not right behind the railway bridge, thereby giving the Germans a huge advantage. And in general, he felt huge problems in holding positions, and all for one simple reason: tanks are an attacking weapon. So it takes about 8h to finish the 9 missions of the house of the Harkonnen, and each house has 9 missions, which means that the full game has a total duration of about 27h when you are already good at playing the game. And I remember that it was not an easy game. So you can easily play for 35~40h before being able to finish it. Nowadays games can often be finished in 8h and the difficulty is so low, there is not much challenge anymore. Even worse: some games automatically decrease the difficulty when they detect that you're stuck somewhere. Not everything was better back in the days, but some of these video games were far superior in terms of enjoyability than many AAA titles today. Factorio is probably the most relatable modern video game that we have today that's simiar to these old games, and I'm so glad that a team of wonderful developers were able to create such a great title. It's a merge of a good old smart gameplay with modern technology and the result is a wonderful game that you can enjoy playing for literally hundreds of hours.

Твт надо было развернуть псд на территории базы противника и поставить ракетные башни, чтобы сбивать орнитоптеры.

Жаль в этой версии игры дюна 2 нет иксцентра у сардаукаров. И они не могут производить соник танки и орнитоптеры как Атрейдес,и и девастаторы как Хараонненны.

Blitzkrieg might still be the best WWII-RTS game ever made! It's up there with Sudden Strike RWM.

Т завод Сардаукар лучше захватить, чем раздолбать

Им оставили только ракету рука смерти как у Харконненов. Хотя у них бы орнитоптер как ц Атрейдесов

В дюне 2 extended edition у Сардаукаров нет икс центра. Когда можно будет сделать, чтобы сардаукары могли строить его и получать орнитоптер, как у Атрейдесов. Также соник танки, как у Атрейдесов и девастаторы как у Харконненов только сиреневые

The first mission asked you to collect 5000 credits, not build 5000 refineries. 2 would've done the job nicely with less headaches.

Total Annihilation released only 5 years after this. Unlimited unit cap, 200+ unique units and 3D simulation. Amazing to think how far the genre expanded in such a short period of time.
