The National - Green Gloves - All Tomorrow's Parties (09.12.12) Video by knappafire. I love it so much I needed to add lyrics. I cut out a nice intro about Tom Berninger leaving their tour, check out knappafire's video.

I was at this show, it was amazing of course! 💓🛣
Wicked band.
The female Dave Gahan has arrived!
hows this band not prime time already !
Awesome!
That audience should be kicked out.
Glowing Cannons Band
Lol ✨️ Vocals
Nice voice. Is She italian girl?
Hard work always pays off AWESOME job cannons ❤..
Saw them in Dallas a year or two ago. Great show, but they need to turn up her mic. Terrible audio.
Love Michelle's outfit. She never seems to wear the same one twice and she always looks GREAT!
you must love the voice and not the Outfit🤦 a lot of singers looks great but the voice is only for trash 🥴😵💫🤫
<3 g
Love Cannons but hate fan videos because of people singing along out of tune just ruins it
Agree, they spoil the live experience when in person too.
Выглядит как мучения и наказание

I don’t deserve this beauty. *crying*
What a beautiful song.Nothing can beat a live performance. So heartfelt and soulful.
Literal chills😆
Just love this.
Nice
Beautiful.
Best ever version of my favourite The National song.
I still give a slight edge to an earlier one, they really take their time with it, and Matt seems so pleased at the end when the crowd starts singing; this was at the start of their success and probably one of the first times to get that kind of reaction. ua-cam.com/video/dgftt9cfvWE/v-deo.html
@@PaulWolfe1 this benefits slightly from the time span between both versions. For me. This is more heartfelt. Nuances and all.
What a night. I will never forget it.
Matt's voice is amazing!
Love this band. They all live on the same street in Brooklyn.
Well they used to. Matt is now in LA, Aaron in rural New York, Bryce spends much of his time in Paris.
Really? I have been a slacker keeping up with them.
New album in September!
Yep, love the new single, I've listened to it about 100 times. Have tickets to see them in Philly, Boston, NY, and Chicago (x2).
Maybe they will return to Red Rocks :-)
I hope not, already blew my budget on the tickets!
Paul Wolfe, you are their greatest fan!
I remember seeing a post of yours saying The National has made all other groups secondary for you. I did not appreciate that until I heard the album Sleep Well Beast. Now I understand!
New album in September!
Fantastic!
About 30 of these views are mine . . . .
LOL. I just got back from Cincinnati, drove from Maryland. Was good but they only did 11 songs.
Amazing show at red rocks, LCD two days later. tonesofhomesite.wordpress.com/2016/08/14/double-concert-review-the-national-and-lcd-soundsystem-at-red-rocks/

Holy crap, it was incredible!
Two hours before the concert it was windy and rainy. Then it was as if Mother Nature said "I really want to enjoy this concert too." Totally cleared up to a slightly breezy 70 degrees.
Thank you Paul Wolfe!
Nice video! Good shot of the rocks too!
I was there!
Nice video! Makes me remember the wind! Was a great, great concert! Wished it would never end! Thanks!
Sorry it's a little shaky, the wind made it hard to hold still.
Thanks for sharing this video! I'd love to see them playing in such a small venue.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
+DieselBenz It turned out better than I thought it would! Unfortunately this was the only one I took, I wanted to just experience it all, but if I knew it was going to look and sound OK I might have sacrificed some of that and taken a few more. It was an awesome concert, such a treat to experience them in a small venue.
+Paul Wolfe I had the same dilemma, I didn't want to watch it through a camera! I took mine with the phone held down low so it wouldn't be in my way. I was surprised they came out pretty good, it's nice to have a few to look back on. Would have been cool to have some of when Matt was right in the crowd, but it was definitely better to be in the moment at those times. :-) They were such amazing shows, we are really lucky! We must have been really close to each other, judging by our videos!
+DieselBenz I wish I had the chance in Aspen to talk to diehard fans of The National. I've been obsessed with them. It's so weird how whenever I mention them to my friends, no one has heard of them. The world's greatest and most successful unknown band (to me, the world's greatest band, period). And it can be hard to get others interested in them, because you have to spend some time with their songs, and with Matt's lyrics, to fully appreciate The National. No catchy dance tunes with trite, easily-digested cliches for lyrics. Had a couple brief conversations with people while waiting in line but that was it. But was at least cool to be there live among 400 or so avid fans. (Though a few were a bit too much; stop trying to prove you are the most INTENSE fan; The National are not death metal.)
+Paul Wolfe I've never had many people to talk to about them either, though I have a small handful of friends who get it. I think their appeal requires a certain amount of depth, and as you said, time invested in listening. Which I love about them ... even after years of listening to a song, I'll notice something about it I didn't before, or a particular line will grab me a new way. Hate to say it but fair chance I was in the "too much" category. I was really emotional about being there and sometimes get too intense when I'm swept up in the moment. If so, I hope it did not take away from your experience at all.
+DieselBenz [even after years of listening to a song, I'll notice something about it I didn't before, or a particular line will grab me a new way.] Yes, amazing a song can do this.
