They should really update most planes with specific lights and a super loud siren for drivers in highways to know a plane is about the freaking land on them and to clear the road.

This happened to one of my coworkers awhile back. Landed safely on freeway.

Driving down the road if you actually take the time to look up you will see for some unknown dumbass reason there's power lines and internet lines and cable lines ran across the road every few hundred feet at least it is in Tennessee in my area and I've always thought that is freaking stupid what happens if a plane is going down and it needs to commit an emergency landing and some inept engineer had decided to run those power lines and chords and crap across the road in the air instead of drilling under the road and putting all these lines in conduit and leaving the Airways clear just in case I'd rather have it clear for that just in case purpose that way everything will still stay online and work and people can call out and get fire rescue and everything else rolling that way instead of having a phone that's not essentially a paperweight because there's no power getting around or whatever because some inept engineer

One of the reasons the lanes are wide on US Interstates is for this reason. It allows room for a plane to land, and the cars to avoid the plane. He did a great job following the road with no power.

Looks computerised as there is no sign of ANY weight dispersion, or distribution on the 6 tyres/wheels. Very odd place to have a camera, as a vehicle would need to be following too closely at EXACT speed througout!! Buildings to the horizon do not change as the plane gets closer to them either 😂

The American interstate highway system was Dwight D Eisenhowers idea after WWII for emergency aircraft landing. This is why they are so long and straight. Had nothing really to do with fuel efficiency for cars or even travel time for them. It was just a two birds with one stone situation.

Our failure to follow the Army Corps of Engineers recommendations for maintaining infrastructure is so incredibly short sighted .....
