I’m using the tissue paper because it’s more flexible than other papers I tried. Also, the film I adhere to the back of the stamp allows me to add the Tack It Over and Over glue so I can use it with my stamp platform. I need the platform so I can stamp repeatedly to get a good impression, which is somewhat difficult when stamping on bumpy coffee dyed paper. But you could sure try your idea on one or two stamps and see how it works. 😊 Like Tim Holtz says, if we’re wondering if something will work, we should definitely try it! Some of the stamps come off much easier than others, particularly the ones with the black or gray cushions. I also peeled the stickers off of the stampin up stamps, and they did stick to the back of the stamp. But I found that trimming around them once they’re adhered to the stamp was far more tedious than simply fussy cutting the impression first. Thanks so much for watching, Wendy! ~Kathy xo ❤️

I’m sure that would work as well. Maybe try it on one or two and if it works, awesome! Personally I prefer the detailed look of the stamp. (I have the Tim Holtz Sonic platform.) Thanks, Hope! I agree that the stamps are fun to look at. I’m going to get a couple of small floating shelves to display the blocks with the prettiest artwork (minus the stamps). That’s a good compromise for me, beauty and function. I love having them in cases by category which I’m storing alphabetically in my drawer. I’m sure a cereal box would work great! I ran out of those photo pages so I was using the backs of my 12x12 paper pads. I had 4 drawers plus several baskets full because ppl keep giving me ribbons and lace from their sewing rooms, which is awesome, but I finally had to start saying no thank you. It seems like every time I try to stamp with a block stamp I mess it up, lol! At least this way I can use my stamp platform. But everyone has their preference and what works best for them.
