I like your travel channel because it is family oriented. It is beneficial to know your children's feedback on the places and experience for future planning traveling with kids. My children are the same age as yours, and I can better relate to your videos than other travelers on UA-cam. I brought my two kids to Guatemala for two weeks. We spent the whole trip in Lake Atitlan for Spanish school and two days in Guatemala City. I was a little worried before the trip because of the rumors on the internet of how unsafe the country was. In fact, I felt 100% safe there. People there are so kind and down to earth. Our host family was so loving. I am so glad that I did not bypass Guatemala City. I went to the Zoo and the Children Museum. They are world class, on par with the US or even better. The animal "collections" are no less than the zoos in the US. There is a mini amusement park inside the Zoo. The food stalls inside the Zoo do not raise the prices. There is a zone, separated from the food court, offers traditional dishes cooked by the local ladies. The Children Museum offers one staff to one family ratio at every exhibit. The staffs are knowledgeable and patient. No kids mess things up there. No kids treat the exhibit as a toy. All kids were well behaved. Bathrooms are clean. The staffs provide guidance and walk through the whole activity with the family. The next family waits in line. Everything is tiny and in order. The entrance ticket even includes a live musical performance in the theater. Outdoor playground comes in themes. It was incredible. The traditional food is nutritious and delicious. I like their black beans very much. I came across a local eatery in the city. It only costed Q20 per meal. I agree with you about the people and the country. Total positive experience. I regretted not staying longer. I would like to go to Xela next time. Peru also gave me similar vibe as Guatemala. I think your family will like Peru also! I understand it is a lot of hard work with filming and editing. Thank you so much for creating the videos and sharing with us!

omg thank you so much for the positive feedbacks we really appreciate it. Yes we had an amazing time in guatemala and I'm so glad we are not the only ones with kids venturing out and seeing how the world really is. We actually went to Peru in 2022, lima, huacachina and then spent another week in cusco and the sacred valley visiting beautiful Machu pichu. I wasn't filming back then and I regret it so much cause so many beautiful places and people in Peru. You are absolute right, specially in cusco you get the Guatemala vibes and we absolutely loved it too. The food in Peru is out of this world. we also definitely want to go back to guatemala and visit Xela, Everyones has told us its worth the visit. If you ever go back also visit Playa Paredon and Lanquin. Ur so right about the people, manners, cleanliness. People have no idea and that's why we love encouraging to travel outside the US. Thank you once again for the support.

@@Travelingwiththerecios it is just matter of knowing how to swim in the middle of the waves. Swimming on the shores is a mistake because the current is strong and you get a lot of sand inside the swimming suit, very uncomfortable, but if you swim where the waves are higher, it is milder, just got to know how to swim the waves, it is a lot of fun. If you dont wanna ride a wave, just dive to the bottom of the wave and the wave goes over you, but doesnt move you at all. If you wanna ride the wave, just swim toward the wave, you got to have the timing to reach to the top of the wave, if you are late, it can fold you around, kind of dangerous. Once the alfaque suck me into the bottom, it drag me like 5 meters to the bottom, until I got to the sand, the same tornado pushed me out to the side. It is just matter of practice and not paniking. It is a lot of fun. I spended 4 to five hours riding waves until i got hungry, got out to eat lunch and go back again.

Thank you guys so much for making these videos. I am so sorry you got sick, but things happen. I want to get to Guatemala, and you are going to many of the same places I want to go. You give a very real view of what things look like, the travel, the hotels, how it is to walk the streets, etc. Your kids are real troopers! All of these experiences will make them very well rounded and worldly.
