I recently experienced something similar visiting family in the UK with the rail and fortunately it all worked out in the end but it was literally a matter of minutes... 👍

Bery bery funny 🤣…. There are many Spanish elements in the Philippines as they colonised the country for many years. Even my mums surname is Domingo - Sunday in Spanish. I love my folks… they are the best (biased I know but they are just awesome 🥰) I am very lucky and grateful for them🙌☺️

Most Foreigner try Grand Indonesia, Plasa Indonesia, Pacific Place, Ashta Malls. But I think you went to the right place, Sarinah is my Fav also, smaller but more on the heritage side and dinner on the evening there has cool different vibes.
