Taste Test: ReadyWise Teriyaki Chicken and Rice
Переглядів 1919 годин тому
When I'm in Utah I try to stop by a Walmart and pick up a good supply of ReadyWise freeze dried camping meals. They are really cheap here, about half the price of Mountain House. This time I try their Teriyaki Chicken and Rice.

RANT: Restaurant Service Fees
Переглядів 23Місяць тому
More and more restaurants are adding "service fees" to cope with their rising costs rather than simply raising menu prices. It may be legal, but it alienates and confuses customers and puts them on the same level as hotels (resort fees), phone companies (regulatory fees, utility fees, etc.), and Ticketmaster (fees and more fees). Here are my off-the-cuff thoughts on this practice.
First Look: STANLEY Adventure All-In-One Boil + Brew French Press
Переглядів 22Місяць тому
I gotta have my coffee. I'm not a coffee snob, but I enjoy a good strong brew. This Stanley Adventure All-In-One Boil Brew French Press was on sale and I figured it would be great to have a French press I could take camping with me. FWIW, my favorite coffee right now is Aldi's Barissimo German Roasted Dark. I'm in Utah at the moment, where there are no Aldi's, so my next choice is Black Rifle T...
Taste Test: Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Vernal UT
Переглядів 406Місяць тому
Freddy's does smashburgers, but nothing like we do on our own griddles. I also try their fries and their fry sauce (it's a Utah thing).

I still haven't forgiven Arby's for discontinuing their tater cakes. They're back for a limited time so I had to get me some.

I finally got a chance to try the Taco Bell Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme a couple of weeks ago. Though I wasn't impressed with the service the Crunchwrap was okay.
Taste Test: Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish Crackers
Переглядів 362 місяці тому
Another video from my motorcycle trip to Utah. I was holed up in Steamboat Springs for a couple of days recovering from road rash and hypothermia. While there I found some Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish Crackers at the grocery and naturally I had to give them a try.
Taste Test: Fillo's Walking Tamales
Переглядів 452 місяці тому
This was recorded during my ride from Chicago to Utah. After my bike slid on ice and I got caught in a blizzard. I was holed up in Steamboat Springs to recover for a day or two and tried these tamales while I was there. This is my rambling review.

Unreal view! Sweet set up
Thanks! Sadly, we've had to move and I don't have that view anymore. 😪
Freddys is legit.
Did you boil the Mac and cheese first, or did you put the raw noodles mixed together with the leftovers straight into the oven? I’m asking because I’m about to try it myself.
You do have to cook the macaroni first, as with most pastas. Thanks for watching, and hope you're works out well!
I’m glad I found you from you fried chicken episode but god bless you and you’re family
Thank you!
I have been thinking to do this on the Yamaha FJR OEM topbox. But can't find a luggage rack. Does anybody know if there is one?
With the shape of the box it may be hard to match. I've sure gotten my money's worth out of mine, that's for sure. Good luck, and thanks for watching!
Maaaaaan, just tried it. It was ASS. 😂
Pretty much...
Certain cheap enough to try. That zipper stuff is insane.
I agree!
Godbless you and your mom ❤
Thank you!
Great review
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, making some tonight for the first time :)
Did you say sliced and microwaved the potato's? Does that help the cooking process?
Absolutely! That helps them cook quicker and more evenly. Thanks for watching!
Dude try the new cheesy chalupa street tacos, theyre great!!
I'll have to check them out... thanks!
Eating this over some rice while watching. Great review my friend hope all is well with you.
Thanks! You too!
$20 at Costco, love the cat.
Thanks!
Beautiful boots i have 5.11fast tac my all favourite boots is 5.11
Did you try this tent in cold weather?
I've been down to the 40s so far. Like most three season tents any colder it needs a Mr. Buddy heater and/or lots of layers. Most of my winter camping is in a hammock where I'm always cozy.
I tried some because I like pork rinds but these are terrible. And don't taste like pork rinds. I ate two and three the rest away. Mac's brand is the one for me, the ones with a little fat attached
That's why there's more than one brand on the shelf... everyone has their own opinion.
Have you ever been to La Unica on Devon in Chicago?
Looks interesting... I'll have to check it out when I come back.
I have lived in Des Plaines for about 4 years now and appreciate your channel.
Thanks! I'm in Utah for a while now, but I will be back.
late to this vid but damn that looks good
Thanks for watching!
Good job and great instructions. Thank you Sir.
Awe, I was able to look back in your vids and came accross your "changes" video. Sorry you had to move. well sometimes life just throws a cuveball at us and we have to adjust . Take care of things and you'll be fine. look a little on the sunny side and take each day one at a time. Enjoy and cherish what you have. Thanks for your work, stay safe, stay armed, stay free.
I haven't posted anything yet but now I'm in Utah. I came to take care of my mom, and she just passed away yesterday. It's been a rough year.
@@griddleporn7368 Very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Keep your head up. Things will work out for you.
Hey, thought you were in California? What did I miss? Thanks for the vid.
Looks great
The video cut out before it was done and we got to see.
Sorry. I did mention that in the description above though.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Try it all man it’s so freaking good lived there for 15 years
Love your view so beautiful
Slob 🤮❗️
I bought the Colman instant tent that you are talking about! I returned it because it was hard to but up as 1 person and flimsy! Felt like mild wind would blow it over
Sorry to hear that. Mine has held up great and I've had it up in all kinds of weather conditions now.
I’m going to try this out tomorrow! Thanks for posting this.
I love my Gold Armor rain fly. I was checking out the same sleeve you showed. Great video by the way.
Thnk you
Man if I had this grill with this view life would be awesome!!! Keep it up my good sir
Great intro to the recliner 😊
14:24 What was the griddle set at? Medium or low. Total cooking time?
I set it at medium low. It's been two years ago since I recorded this but best I remember it was about 15-20 minutes. Thanks for watching!
The combo is good!!
Yes sir! That’s how it’s done.
Lost the screw after a few uses on the right side recline lock so it is just a pile of garbage with out the screw and bushing I cant find. Any help with parts would be great.
Well, those look tasty Mark... Tell me, do you find the food in the Chicago area to be more tasty than California? Most of what we have here tastes too processed to me. And that reversed camera... On both of my phones there is a selfie mode where it can be reversed so that it comes out normal... I actually video all of mine using this reversed picture mode. And.. it is good seeing your lady on there with you. Take care out there...
I'll look for a selfie mode, thanks. Chicago has amazing burgers, Italian beef, gyros, pizza, and hot dogs. If I want a good salad, Mexican food, or something vegan California is better. Basically different styles.
Found the setting... Thanks again!
I feel like smoking tri tip is more ideal than griddle. Just better flavor. I pulled it off but my buddy’s Traeger did a better job slow cooking for 8 hours. Just my opinion. Otherwise the Blackstone does most everything else better.
But if you don't have a smoker due to space, money, or any other reason than the griddle does just fine.
Is that roast malone
🤤
Hope you're doing well, I got 3 pounds from sam and I'm down for it. May you live a happy life and live to the fullest
That looks De-licious!!! Yum, I’ll have to stop by to give it a try!
Enjoy!
Damn that burger looks tasty. You got out of here just in time. Prices of fast food are crazy. A friend of mine just purchased 2 burgers, 1 fry and 1 union ring and he was close to $50!!! It would be cheaper to fly out of state and eat and fly back... LOL... But it is sad...
Prices, rain, floods, fires... everything has gone crazy there! 😉
Excellent simple video!
I just upgraded to a Blackstone griddle after the ignitor went on my Weber grill and I found out that it was $40 to replace! I don't know if you know that whole griddle top comes off; it simply sits on 4 studs. You simply lift up the back end and pull it forward, then lift up. You can see the studs if you look at the sides.
Thanks, but I do know. I'm the one who put it together. 😉
