The Grand Budapest Killer trailer
In my film editing class this semester I was asked to Re-Cut a movie into a trailer and change the genre for part of my midterm. The film I was working with was The Grand Budapest Hotel from Wes Anderson and I chose to give it a horror/thriller genre recut and made this trailer. My teacher said it was great and that it should be posted on UA-cam so here it is. I do not own any of the rights to the music/audio or video.

Scene Recreation

This was our first assignment of this semester in our Art of Directing class. We had to recreate a scene from one of our favorite movies. David, Jay and I went with a scene from The Wolf of Wall Street. We were short on time but were able to pull it off as best as we could. This video also had its audio adjusted. Enjoy !

This was the final result we came to as a group for one of our final projects from our director James Davis! This was probably one of our best films we made this spring semester in 2024 and there is still room for us to grow and do better next time around! Thanks for watching and I hope you all enjoy!

This was a project for our introduction to telecommunications class. We had to incorporate 14 different shots/angles into a story that was told visually rather than with dialogue. This is my edit of the footage we shot.

This was supposed to be a 2-3 min video of us practicing all the roles on set from Director to DP, AC, and Sound OP including acting. We had more than enough footage for 2-3 minutes and this was our end result. This is now the 2nd video I have edited on DaVinci Resolve. Enjoy!
Jump Scare project

This was our second project for our film class. We were tasked with filming a jump scare and we had trouble getting our idea off of the ground and worked with this one last minute. Our dialogue recorded in the classroom was riddled with beeps coming from something in the room, hence all the sharp cuts in the edit. This was our first project of the Spring 2024 semester at RCC. We were tasked with filming a "Oner" shot and this was our result! Note: we are all amateurs so... be gentle with the criticisms ;)

Despite the extended runtime and other technical difficulties, all I can say is that we did a pretty good job with what we got. Great job editing the final product, Alessandro!
