I added Zuri to my collection too. I am so happy with her! Those shoes almost killed me though. I ended up using a small crochet hook to pull the last loop over her foot. She may be wearing these shoes forever! I put the head wrap on but I’m not 💯 happy with how it looks. I wanted to mention to you that Jason posted a video on the Integrity fb group showing how to put the wrap on. I’m going to give that try. And my purse will not stay closed either so I think I am going to just glue it shut. I’m really happy with this doll otherwise. Her screening is perfection.

I just purchased my first integrity toy, doll on eBay can’t wait for it to arrive I’m very excited 😆

I have the Diwali Barbie. When I received her, I was kind of expecting an embroidered outfit - that would have been amazing! I still love the doll and the outfit. I found out (from your video actually) that Anita Dongre designed a life-sized version of Barbie's outfit for us to wear 😍 and I looked at it on her website and it is also printed and not embroidered (it has pockets!!). Though the Lina face sculpt is very beautiful, it's not "Barbie." I look at her as Barbie's Indian friend; the way I saw PJ as the more quiet friend of Barbie. Barbie is Barbie, so the Odile face sculpt is better suited to that Barbie look we have gotten to love - she is blonde, blue-eyed and White; and she has many friends from all different cultures and races. I don't think her appeal decreases in any way if Mattel keeps her true to her "sunny California girl" look that she's had for decades. I think IF Mattel made a severe-looking blonde Barbie (a la extreme right-wing commentator, Ann Coulter) who had friends whose ethnicities or personalities were diminished in any way, it would be a different story. But Barbie by Mattel is a girl empowerment doll, and whilst there are a lot of girls who don't look like the original Barbie, they can look like her friends and I don't think there's anything wrong with that, because as I said before - Barbie is Barbie. I do agree that the newer face sculpts for actual Barbie should change (they're too wide and big in proportion to the body, in my opinion)...back to what they were in the 80s and 90s (like Pink & Pretty, Peaches & Cream, Astronaut and Dream Glow Barbies). To me, THAT was what Barbie should look like, so the Odile face sculpt seems to be better suited to what Barbie should look. Actually, Odile is a little similar to Twirly Curls - they both have a California girl look to them. Also, I agree that Mattel should continue their trend in making more Barbie dolls by International designers (but to me they'll always be Barbie's friends). However, I do think original Barbie's forever designer of choice is Bob Mackie and they can always share outfits designed by Bill Blass, Valentino and Lanvin (like they do in the Barbie book by Billy Boy)!

Great video! I love these dolls, but dressing them can be sooooo trying. I just broke off a hand on one of my dolls last week. I bought new hands online, and I just have to remove the peg stuck in her arm. Get Eden's skin tone and check online for parts, or get a new body for her. I know - it is heartbreaking. She's a beautiful choice for that outfit.

Ag mini dolls used to be a bit better they used to have little inset eyes and cloth body which was probley better

I find it annoying that american girl chargesvshipoing on thr big itens no matter hiw much you spend becausevuts mattel and they can affird to give people free ship the extra fees for the big heavy box makes me not want to buy the playsets no matter how cute they are. Im with you they should give free ship ❤
