      SysOps doesn't require deep coding knowledge. It's not the core skill. But some knowledge of Python or Bash will help automate tasks to manage cloud resources. Since you are from commerce background, focus on understanding infrastructure management and basic automation first.

    Great explanation, but I want ask one question. It may be stupid question. Why java need to complie source code Into bytecode? Instead of directly interpret in to machine code using jit and interpretor.

    • @KarpadoOfficial
      @KarpadoOfficial 4 місяці тому

      That's a very good question. The answer is a bit long, so please bear with me. The primary role of the compiler is to translate human-readable code (source code) into bytecode, identify any syntax errors, and optimize the code to make the interpreter's job easy. It scans the entire code and provides a list of syntax errors (if any) for the developer to address. The interpreter comes into play when the code is deployed in the runtime environment. It executes the bytecode line by line. If it encounters a runtime error (Ex: NullPointerException that cannot be detected during compile time), it halts the process immediately and throws an error. It will only proceed to the next line once the issue is rectified. Now, let's consider a scenario where there is no compiler, and the interpreter is designed to directly execute the source code. Here are some challenges: 1) Since the interpreter operates in the runtime environment (JVM), developers would need to deploy the code to identify syntactical errors. Just imagine the time required to fix each error one by one and deploy the application every time after fixing each error. 2) As the interpreter has to translate the source code as an additional step, the application's performance would be compromised. 3) If you were to deliver the application to your client, you would likely prefer to share the compiled code to protect your source code's proprietary nature. It's just impractical.

    Thank you very much. This was useful for me, and I appreciate your time. I come at this from a slightly different angle. I am retired and just want to make a side income as a freelancer. The most useful language for me (the one I know) is JavaScript, as I mainly do small web apps. That said, for some - no good reason - I keep getting drawn to Java. I have moved about a lot of the years and still don't know what to settle on. Here are my favourites in order: 1. Ruby. I realy like this language, but have no idea what I would use it for and I don't like Rails 2. Python. I probably could stick with thisas it does all I need - this video at 11:43 3. Javascript. I should just focus on JS and give my head a break. It is so versatile. 4. Java. I have no idea whay I keep getting drawn to Java, but I keep going back. I am following Tim Buchalka's course. It is super comprehensive, but it's dry and I am forcing myself to follow it - it's not enjoyable for me. There isn't a useful takeaway here, other than, if you know what you want to do, find the most suitable language (tool) and stick to it. Otherwise you will turn in to me - not reccommended (o:

      You appear to be a perfectionist and a learnaholic. When you don't understand something, you delve into it, spending hours researching it until you're clear on it, or you feel unsettling.This is both good and bad. This might be good because you will understand it very deeply, unlike anyone else. But the bad thing is, it may not contribute to your goals! Remember: "It's better to do the right thing inefficiently than the wrong thing with 100% efficiency." This is what I tell my mentees. You are learning Java because you want to satisfy your hunger to fully understand the concepts, and you don't want to give it up. But then, is it contributing to your goals? I feel JavaScript might be a better fit for your needs. You need to try to avoid getting distracted and stay focused on it. I hope it helps, and in case you want to learn Java (just for entertainment), you can watch the complete course for free right here on UA-cam. My teaching style is something I truly believe you'd love and will keep you interested. ua-cam.com/video/U5x-xBMppYA/v-deo.html
