Heyy there! I'm a sophomore in high school here in Turkey, and I’m planning to take the IELTS exam during the summer of my junior year. My goal is to study at a university in Italy or somewhere else in Europe. I’ve got quite a bit of time to prepare, but because of the intense education system here, I’ve had to work super hard since the beginning of high school. Whenever I get a breather from my regular classes, I squeeze in some practice. Thanks so much for the tips and advice in your video, it really helps! Fingers crossed I can make it! <3

Here's my paragraph lol: This video is about "How to extend your attention span to read and focus longer". It's helpful for people who struggle with concentrating on their tasks and struggle with learning things on a deeper level. From this video, I learned that a lot of us have short attention span because we consume short vids for cheap dopamine that messes our brain. To fix this, we should start small when trying to extend our attention span and we can do this by first reading the descriptions of each short content we watch, block the short content, watch long videos you find entertaining, watch long educational videos, read books that you find entertaining, read self-improvement books, and then textbooks or school books. This step-by-step process in extending one's attention span is small and simple but it's worth the try :) this video was helpful ty! Also, anyone who's reading this and not watching the vid or is distracted, pls focus on the vid as there are tips and details that may be useful for you

Thanks for this valuable reminder kakk. Tbh, I'm getting stuck & little bit demotivated while practice ielts reading to ace target score (honestly, reading to achieve target score, not to understand the whole article). Even though I usually enjoy reading academic articles (research paper), I feel ielts reading is little bit challenging due to lack of curiosity in that topic.
