I think that this is quite good, Paul.

You live in Holland dude. It is a country that is perfectly level and has lots of rain and a shit ton of roads. So you buy a bike without fenders, without chain guard and with just a single miniature chainring. This bike makes perfect sense to Afghanistan, if it had a carrier and a basket that is. Also everyone knows that Aluminium is considerably heavier than steel at same 20+ year long-term durability due to lower fatigue strength. Aluminium only makes sense to save weight if the material is either not subject to any sort of considerable mechanical warping (i.e. it is not a bicycle frame), or if you want to trash your components after using them just a few times (e.g. in rockets). It seems your high IQ has failed you.
