I use automotive paint. No specific brand, just whatever catches my eye/the theme I'm going for. Still new to painting, so I don't have any favorites at the moment.

You can remove the leaf springs. Very easy to do. The truck will run just fine. Just make sure you have the right springs to support the rear end.

@Th3_Genius with only the springs holding the rear axle?

@dimasmatos94 Yup! I think only two screws hold in the leafs. Personally, I like the way the truck rides with the leafs, it just limits your ride height and travel. I just make up for it with the front end. Imo, MN models just added the leafs for scale realism.

The MN82 has a single speed gearbox. There's a back story to the issues with the MN82. Check out my channel where I give detailed explanations and solutions to any problems. I also have Playlists.

@Th3_Genius mn82 doesn't actually have PHYSICAL gears but you just have to hold the button on the remote and it has electronic slow or fast gear

@mateusznowak904 I no longer have the stock transmitter. That was upgraded a long time ago. And that slow speed would not be enough to climb the hills. My truck has full metal upgrades and wheel weights from that build. It weighs 2x the stock truck.

I've prioritized performance over cosmetics for this build. A lot of work was done under the hood to get this rig working properly (stay tuned for future videos). I agree that lights complete the build though. Those will all be added soon.
