I share your passion for my own sports car when it comes to my form of paint protection. I have never used a full blown ceramic coating, usually only good carnauba paste wax as I just prefer the look of a great high content carnauba paste wax. I do also like a few of the synthetic based waxes for my base layer like Soft 99 Fusso Coat, Menzerna Powerlock/Ultralock, and a few others, again, usually as my base layer. I have an entire collection of waxes that I have bought over the years and some of them are well over ten years old, and they work perfectly fine, even after ten years. Which is why I like the paste waxes over the liquids. The pastes seem to last quite a bit longer than the liquids, which can go bad or "spoil" over a several year period. I have never had a paste wax go bad. I am also a fan of glazes to hide the minor imperfections and swirls in between polishing sessions. They really help to bring out the depth and gloss of the clear coat or even single stage paint. Then the high carnauba content wax, which may not be the most durable, but sure as hell achieves the most brilliant finish. I always get comments on how glossy my finish is. I always have people asking me what I used on the paint to get it so glossy. I always tell them, a great glaze, Poorboys World Black Hole or Dodo Juice Lime Prime Plus are two that I use with great results. Then I usually follow it with a synthetic wax like Fusso Coat to lock in the gloss, then topped with a couple of different carnauba waxes that I like to use to bring out the finish to the highest possible gloss. It takes some time, but I can usually get it done (Glazing step and waxing step) in one full day with the first coat of Fusso Coat (A super durable synthetic wax) and let it cure for twenty four to forty eight hours before applying the carnauba waxes. Another very glossy wax that is super easy to use which I sometimes use as a topper when I want a quick boost to the gloss before taking the car to a cruise-in night, car show, cars and coffee, or even before a date night with my wife. I like my car to be a showstopper when I take it out. Carnauba may not last as long as a ceramic coating, but coatings have their downsides too, such as needing maintenance like declogging of the coating, regular wash maintenance, etc. They are great for daily drivers but not on show cars in my opinion. WAX IS CERTAINLY NOT DEAD! IT'S ALIVE AND WELL.

Jesus, dumping 4 - 5 sprays of Reload on only one half of the hood. CRAZY. No disrespect but you're using WAAAY to much product and did you even wait 60 seconds before wiping the panels down a 2nd time as per the instructions on the bottle? You're also supposed to work in a 50cm x 50cm grid pattern. Also this is instructions on the bottle. You're using this product like a waterless wash. BTW the car looks amazing and in great condition.
