Helllooo! Thank you for the questions! I use it straight after showering, usually once a day. And if I am doing any exercise or social dancing, I will always use roll on first and then spray on top. I tend to reapply the spray only if I need it later in the day but usually I don’t. I do sweat a lot in my armpits and on my back. My armpit sweat used to smell a lot with exercise but doesn’t as much with my new routines. I used to shave all the time and that was fine (I didn’t wax because I didn’t want to wait for the hair to grow, as a dancer I lift my arms up for the world to see almost everyday and I personally feel more comfortable with no hair there). The only issue I had with shaving was razer bumps and ingrown hairs so for the past 4 months I have been doing laser hair treatment and it’s working well so far. I’ve gone from needing to shave every two days to only shaving once a week (so far!)

Someone who has been dancing for a year, I still consider a beginner. I only started seeing progress in my dancing when I hit the two year mark. I am sorry to hear your comment as it sounds deflated 😢 without knowing what your teacher is like, what your dancing is like or how often you practice in class and at home, it’s hard to give any specific advice. for some it takes a little longer, for others they need more practice, or more time, it also might be your teacher or the specific community. You watched the video and commented so you obviously care about dancing, so I ask you, putting your feeling of fitting in to one side or improvement, do you have fun or did you have fun before you started feeling this way? That’s great! You can also record yourself on your phone and watch it back if you don’t have a mirror but it takes much longer

You are very welcome! If I were you, I would speak to the teacher about it, a good teacher would take you seriously and start making an effort to talk about it in class. A lot of times teachers don’t even know it’s happening, or don’t think it’s a problem on their community. So if they hear it is, they will try and change it. If they brush it off or make you feel bad, it’s time to find another teacher.

Try to find the teachers who prefer Dominican or Moderna bachata, they might have some more insight as to events which have less sensual bachata

@@MarwaRamsiDance In my country there's only one or two schools that teach dominican and they don't play dominican music in socials. I searched every possible option. It's just that in my country Dominican bachata is not very appreciated.

@pepsicolla123 such a shame! The entrepreneur in me is saying, you take it upon yourself to get good at the dance (and at running a dance school) and teach it yourself… that’s what we did in our little city (for all styles of bachata) and it’s gone well! But this does take time

I think it's actually okay to say no when a person is being inappropriate. It's hard but very important

@@pepsicolla123 of course. you can tell the leader you don't want to dance certain moves with them, if it makes you uncomfortable. Do you expect another person to just know what's on your mind?

As someone who also leads and asks leaders to dance when I follow, I have also experienced this. It’s really not nice :( I think when they are being obvious about not wanting to dance with you, ending the dance is fine in my opinion.

Mine too, dance is such a joyful experience, it’s a shame that some individuals can taint it for others. Good point about leaders, it works both ways

Agree! You never have to put up with any anything making you feel uncomfortable. And I also 100% agree with gossip, personal preference isn’t something to put someone down for. Of course this video didn’t address everything, just scratching the surface. Great point about advanced dancers too

No I definitely don’t think Rose is a professional dancer, there are lots of videos I’ve critiqued Rose and praised her for doing so well despite the fact she isn’t professional. She is very very good, especially seeing as she isn’t a dancer, mine are just extra suggestions for people watching to look at and improve on

Who me? Yes… definition of professional: Engaged in an activity as one’s paid occupation. People pay me to teach them dance, therefore… professional 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Think of your reasons for wanting to learn to dance… if you don’t have fun, think about why that is. If you still can’t have fun while dancing, maybe dancing is not the best hobby for you and you can try something else that will make you feel happy

It depends on the owners level of copyright. So I’ve found that most music producers will allow you to use their music on UA-cam as long as you aren’t copying it, e.g. a dance cover is fine but recording and putting only the song up is not. The only problem is if you want to monetise your content, they don’t let you, all the money goes to the music producer and not to you. So most of my videos with music in the them cannot make any money now or in the future.
