This video is to give an example of what this case can be modified to hold. This case can be made from any sheet material that has a consistent thickness and a little flexibility. The reason for the flexibility is so the pins, or “tabs” can be inserted - the tabs have little fingers that need to bend slightly and then spring into place. Materials like aluminum and titanium (that was a suggestion that someone commented) might not be a good choice because they might not bend enough to snap back with their current design. These could be modified too so really anything is possible.
This case was modified to hold (2) sets of Oculus Rift headsets and all the accessories that go with them. It is made using 1/4" thick black Richlite. This material is quite heavy so I milled out the backside of the material 1/8” deep wherever possible. All of the fragile equipment has padded areas where they are stored. The padding was 1/4" thick black foam rubber that came on a 2” wide roll with an adhesive backing.

This cut file has both the 5.2mm material thickness version and another for 1/4" thick. For this video, I took the 5.2mm version and uniformly scaled the file to a thickness of 1/4" to create the larger black version.
