Just woke up to this on shuffle. Best soundtrack awakening I've ever had. 10/10.
2024 airbus a380 is still going strong
This is a very interesting series thank you for uploading. Do you have episodes 2&3?
A380 and concorde both built in Europe are just fine peices of art and design ❤
23:40 does anybody know the name of that song?
Hey, Limey! Use the Imperial System of measurement along with your ridiculous metric system! I give you a thumbs down for your lack of thought for Americans!
Duck flying unless we’re comfortable. Me, I, you, F the rest.
I’ll rather ride in a plane I can comfortably sit in. Win for the A380
It’s not just civil aviation. The stubbornness of the US government to avoid subsidizing industries has obviously been nothing short of catastrophic. The list of countries that went under for it will soon include Boeing, and Boeing pretty much deserves it. I remember watching a documentary on the 777, and it was pretty apparent even then that the project development schedule was both unrealistic and inviolate. They managed to escape disaster from cutting corners to keep with the timeline in the 777, but it caught up with them in the Max and the 787.
I flew Icelandic Air from NYC to Luxemburg via Reykjavik that very year! It was the least expensive airline. They served cognac on the plane, the best cognac I've ever had.
name if the girl that sing with dj bobo ?
Oryginał is Jennifer Rüesch
Это не Jennifer Rüsch, голос Jennifer Rüsch звучит в оригинальном клипе "Everybody", и там она сама есть. Это другая девушка.
La mejor canción de los 90' 💙🤍💙🇦🇷

04:31 "August 1932" with the reflection of a carefully placed mid-1950s American car in the front door...... Oh, and the Harley to the right that seems to have time-travelled as well ;-)
INB4 Idiots are gonna comment something about the YT Algorithm. :/
❤
18:09 Because Boeing is right all along......
At 23 years of age in 1965, I went strait from flying a DH-82 tiger Moth (Biplane) & Cessnas etc to the DC-3, never having flown Twin Engines, Retractable Undercarriage, Constant Speed Props let alone cross country at night. Our group of trainees spent one & a half hours learning how to taxi (No steering on the ground, just engines, brakes & tail lock), man were we out of our depth! It didn't take us long to catch on as they were a forgiving big heavy on the control "Cessnas" in the air but Takeoff & landing you could be very busy. A pleasure to fly except at night with Thunder Storms near the lowest safe altitude with METO Power (Maximum except Take Off) & still going down! I did 1,600 hours on them mainly with Wright Cyclone R1820's - 24 hours with the Normal Pratt R1830's (Almost the same power settings). BTW one flight we did 245 kts outbound & 45 kts inbound with cars passing us! :o)
the goliath has fallen victim just like wasteland of Dubai, bigger and biggest does not mean the best
Wht a work, no words to describe Hatsoff AIRBUS 380
Ambrose is looking pretty rough for 36.
747 = 18 = 9 380 = 11 = 9/11
I read Citizen Soldiers when I was in 7th grade and it put the hooks in me. I gobbled up every WWII book I could get my hands on after that. I loved the book Band of Brothers and The Victors. This documentary was probably the most thorough one of any one that is out there. Thanks for the upload.
Flown on both. Fit-n-finish on Boeing's is still better.
The story of the boy’s father giving his son the match ball ⚽️ was awesome. But I’m still glad germany 🇩🇪 won 🤪
Southgate’s england 🏴 team is really good and can go a long way.
The DC-3 is such a gorgeous aircraft, I am not lucky not to fly with It. Ethiopian airlines have mounted one of its first DC-3 on the gate of its hub at Bole International Airport. Whenever I drive around that path I always feel a deep affection to that plane. I was also delighted to look at one of the Ethiopian airlines DC-3 flying across the roughed Ethiopian terrain at the 36:06 minute of this video. Thank you for bringing back memories.
At the age of four in 1965 first flew DC3. Every trip till 1978 are etched in my memory. Enjoyment, I had in good old Dakotas have not been replaced any other aircraft.
I like the way he smacks his lips every two minutes for some reason.
Everyone is complaining about the music. This is how it was edited by Airbus decades ago, as the A300 clip is of Airbus origins and the music that’s featured is stock music. Quite quaint but of decent taste and matches the video and mood of the era. The one at 00:10:13 was also featured on some other TV shows.
These were lisence built by Mitsubishi and by Starlin. The Ford Trimotor is probably the oldest similar plane, still in commercial service.
Lindbergh was about the 27th to fly the Atlantic. The first were Alcock and Brown.
WHOS WATCHING IN 2020 AND THINKING BOY WERE THEY WRONG ABOUT THE A380 not that it was a bad plane it was a great plane but ppl choose point to point travel and airlines wanted less fuel burn and not more passengers more frequent flights not fewer with more capacity and who fucking picked the music its like if we didn't want ppl to watch this which playlist would we go with and they ended up going with that
I flew on one with the Captain's band coming back from a show, from Corpus Christi to Pensacola. We stuffed it with passengers and instruments. Took forever to go thru the checklist., three pages long. Phew, we made it
Some selected people around the world were given login privilege to watch the Airbus A380 first flight online.
A 380 the worlds biggest flying coffin lol you get in that and go to hell
41:32 it was always overweight stfu
Too elongated content, ya-da ya-da, should have been a 30 min video. I wonder why there is this shot of a 747 as a transitioning thing between the small segments.
It’s strange how some people are analysing a 2007-9 aircraft, a 6year old documentary with a 2019/20 mindset and reality. True Boeing may be right about the future of flying, true the A380 may be retiring soon and it may have been built 20-40 year too late to rival the 747 but it did its job. Raised market share for Airbus and it is also a fantastic piece of aeronautic engineering. For the 2020 and future realities let the A350 and the A320 neos battle that out with Boeing 787 and the Max. Thé À380 may not have lasted long or made much returns. It’s the reason a Monopoly changed to a duopoly and Airbus can now speak for people to listen or Boeing now has a stiff competition. Sometimes or most times the history makers or changers may not necessarily enjoy the dividend, they just set the ball rolling for others. A380 is an ICON
It was interesting but the background music did my head in I had to turn it off after 20 minutes.
