2:15 Maybe a year or two ago something poked the back of my neck while on a night time summer ride through this section. It felt like a finger that poked me and slid down the back of my neck 1 or 2 inches. Nobody was around and it wasn't a bat and I was actively rolling maybe around 13mph. It was spooky and caught me totally off guard. I was looking at my phone messing with Spotify when it happened. It was like something was telling me to look up and pay attention to my riding. I know that this trail is supposedly haunted, especially under that bridge around 1:45 but it's been way less spooky with the bridge rebuild, added lighting, and clearing back of the trees from the trail. I've never seen anything or was paranoid after the bridge rebuild. It *was* spooky before the bridge rebuild though but mainly for the claustrophobic feeling from the trees closing in at night and creating a pitch black tunnel. Again, I've never experienced anything under the bridge other than myself scaring myself, so getting what felt like a random finger poke to the back of my neck really got my attention. Not sure how I feel about riding through this section at night again. Up in Omaha anyways so I don't get to ride Lincoln enough, especially at night. Crazy to see this on here, even though I’ve lived in Lincoln for 5 years and drove by that demo a bunch of times at all stages of progress. To think that Elvis played here near the end of his career, Kid Cudi played here at his prime, and Kendrick Lamar payed here at the beginning of his career. Also, my sister and (first) stepmom clogged here a couple times, and the first time I ever used Heelys was in that building. Even before that, my mom took my sister and I to Sesame Street Live at the Pershing center in 2002-03 around when I was in pre-school, which was one of my favorite experiences up to that point. Funny enough, I’m parked on Centennial Mall right by the big hemispherical planters that are in front of the dirt pad that used to be the Pershing center. The last time I was parked here was a year and a half or so ago and I watched a short doc on the Pershing center and the time Elvis played here. Sad to see it go but change is inevitable

Great video! IMHO, using time lapse on trails that don't have a lot of stunning scenery, or any of it, really helps make up for the fact that the viewer is not there in person, using all the senses. Videos have no feeling of wind in your face, no aromas of grass, flowers, food, or whatever as you pass, and no hearing of waterfalls, etc. Point being: speeding up an otherwise mundane urban bike path makes it fun to watch. Thanks for sharing.😁
