Peyton Thorne didn't play any better than any other week. He threw some AWFUL balls to a WR who is likely already NFL caliber, who was being covered by some of the worst DB's in D1 football. A good few of those TD passes would've been EASY interceptions for Tex AM and Bama. Don't be fooled into thinking they've found something. An awful, awful QB doesnt all of a sudden become a good, or even serviceable qb during the last 3 games of his career lol. That's just dumb. Nothing has changed. That was just the worst QB in the SEC by a MILE throwing to a secondary that played even worse....even though that's almost impossible to believe. Having said all that, I saw two things today that floored me: 1)Auburn has had the lead in every game they've played this year. That says something. 2)Remember the 4th and 31 debacle in the IB last year?? Do some research on Freeze's past.coaching stops, and you'll see that losing big games in inexplicable ways after having the game virtually in the bag has been a Hugh Freeze Special everywhere he's been. Tommy Tuberville comes to mind immediately.
