Audi S6 1/4 Mile Runs Stock Tune
2017 Audi S6 1/4 Mile runs at PBIR during Oktoberfast. First run is against a BMW M4, Second and Third runs are against a 2021 Stage 1 Audi S7.
Mods: Milltek Non-Resonated Exhaust with APR X pipe, SRM Intake, 034 Motorsports lowering links + OBD11 about 33mm. NOT TUNED, yet.
12.5 was my best time previously, so I think the car didn’t cool well enough between runs and was heat soaked.

      @@fredwilliams7893 it’s just an x-pipe placed in line the milltek’s non resonated system.     nice car i have 2017 s6 as well just ran a 12.3 at 108 letting off at the end because a car was coming, probably would of ran 12.1 or 12.2 bone stock at 3588ft DA

    I think H pipe sounds way better on idle and low rpm i have IE xpipe and mid pipe going to stock exhaust and i hate how it sounds on idle . Im looking to remove the IE x pipe and install Miltek h pipe but i think 2.76 piping on miltek h pipe wont fit stock exhaust .

      Because something is wrong with this car, the traps are down 3-5 mph and the times are off about .5 from the plurality of stock cars logged. With a tune these guys usually turn in sub 11.5 and traps closing on 120. Low 3s for the 0-69. With some ethanol or higher octane, people dipping into 10s and mid 120s with minimal mods. Intake+tune only on e85 has seen 10s. Different ball game from the s3. Which is fine. The s3 is great for its class. I know I had the same motor on APR file in my ‘16 GTi. It’s strong for most street driving. Fell off hard after 120 though. Didn’t have a dragy when I had that car. Now I have a ‘13 S4 which runs 12 flat @ 114 with intake and tune, but I’ve been gearing up in a few months to go S6. Different levels of power and potential. Semi off topic rant: Too many people spend tens of thousands trying to make their cars faster than is reasonable from the start point. Better off taking that money and getting a better base imo. Then you’re not over spending for gains, and when your base is more capable you don’t shred reliability or usability. Can you make a four cylinder 2.0 with 700hp? Absolutely! It’ll be expensive, drive like dog shit as it doesn’t spoil until 4K, and probably break all sorts of things with regularity. The only reason race cars do it is due to size restrictions and regulation. No reason to do it with a road car! Just enjoy each car for what it is and where it sits in the grand hierarchy. There’s always slower guys and faster guys!

      Just to clarify, it is a milltek Exhaust with an APR X pipe installed in the midsection. APR whole exhaust does sound good but Milltek is where it’s at on this platform for me.

      To each their own my man. I’ve been eyeing down the Milltek for this car well before I bought it. I Never entertained the APR exhaust. I agree the H pipe sounds a little rough but the X pipe is 👌🏻 for me

    Dang it looks like you’re getting heat soak. I have a ‘16 A6 and I upgraded heat exchanger on just an intake and tune and it’s made a big difference. About to go dual pulleys!

    Love it, I recently drove a ‘12 R8 straight pipe, you think the S6 can achieve a similar sound ? Or another model ? (Maybe S8? Definitely RS7) I just want that V8 sound and power like the R8 until I can afford one lol! S6 is my favorite though besides R8 - just the whole look of it and size (rs7 is also way over my budget anyway)

      Hopefully you got one by now lol. But the V8 R8 has the same motor from the V8 S5, so you can get a 2010-2012 S5 for pretty cheap and straight pipe that. They sound amazing that way.

      Damn I wish. Bone stock in similar weather I ran a 12.5 at 110. I think I was dealing with heatsoak, but its also shifting differently than in the past I feel like.

      @@bbigrocker1 It's cold where I am which adds big HP, but it was foggy last night, so the roads are slightly damp. I can limit the launch a bit to get off the line well, but it's going to spin at 5800 in first and then the car will not want to do a high torque shift. Let us know what happens. Good luck!!

      @@adamiscoo4 Right now it's catless full Miltek exhaust and SRM intakes. Later this year I'll have the TTE turbos, Tial Waste gates, dual fuel pumps, MAC sensors, 4 bar sensor, APR charge cooler, turbo oil filter relocation, stainless brake lines. DSG trrans tune..

    Love the way the car looks. Makes me want to hug mine. I don't have an S6, but I do have a Stage 2 DP 3.0T 93 octane. Hoping for 11.7. A couple of guys with the same tune and an intake went 11.5. The intake was actually worth 2 tenths and 2-3 mph, so I might go Stage 2 plus with a bigger TB and intake and see if I can go 11.4. Cheers

      Thanks man! I love this platform! I had a B8 S4 before this with an APR Stage 1 tune, ran a 12.2 on the 104 tune. The dual pulley setup seems to make a lot of power for the 3.0T but I never went that route. Good luck with the low 11's!

      Nope! No tune at all. You should hear yours with the windows down? it may just be the air intakes sucking in air, but it sounds like turbo spool to me. and you can hear the wastegates coming off boost.

      @@adamiscoo4 For now, just SRM intakes and the Miltek exhaust with RS 6 downpipes. At some point I'll have TTE turbos, Mac sensor, Tial waste gates Auto tech dual fuel pump 4 bar sensor, stage 2+ tune SRM high pressure fuel pumps APR boost cooler. Had to fire two local tuners, greed among local tuners is rampant.. So I have to take it to Maryland to get the rest of it done.

    Wow... my bone stock 2013 did 12.2 @ 112 1.75 60' just north of you in Georgia. With your low trap speeds, I would say that you are losing some horsepower somewhere. My numbers match the reviews out there on the internet for the car. With APR Stage 1 (93 octane map) and nothing else, mine did 11.5 @ 117 1.64 60'. My turbos just went kaboom at 78,000 miles so I'm currently in the middle of a RS7 turbo swap.

      I wish I was running low 12's, but haven't had a clean run with good weather. Every time I went to the strip here its been over 85 degrees with high DA's. My power delivery during the shifts also seem to be delayed and I'm losing boost between shifts. Not sure of the cause, but I'm actually hoping its my turbos lol. Tune is coming as soon as turbos go.

      The tips at the end are Milltek’s GT100 tips in black cerakote. 100mm. The rear section of the exhaust is without mufflers or valves.

    What is the air intake system you are using? Seen at 3:17 on the video. I particularly like the color combination with the engine and have a 2018 S6 myself. The Milltek exhaust is a nice rumble even compared with the Audi sport exhaust. btw X-pipe all the way.

      Silly Rabbit Motorsports, SRM Long Intakes. The paint was a special paint color from Anker Automotive. They had around 10 of them custom powder coated to that color, it’s like a cherry red. Yeah X pipe was my favorite of the three options too lol

      Personally, I agree with the DSG fart cheapening the car but on the 2.0T platform. The 3.0T and 4.0T sound incredible when they shift with a good quality exhaust.

      I completely agree, that was one of the main reasons I changed it to the X pipe, I hated the sound at low RPM's.

    Great video, I'm looking to go aftermarket but use miltek design pipe sizes and H pipe to create a similar sound to them. The H seems more raspy and mustang like whilst the X is more subtle and deep. I plan to get straight pipes and H with valved back boxes so hopefully drone shouldn't be that bad, if it is then I'll maybe add some baby resonators

      sounds like you could be looking at a near perfect setup. Milltek's pipes are 2.75" just so you're aware. With the valves, the setups in the video should be the same as having the valves open all the time. The drone isn't bad all with the X pipe so I wasn't worried about having valves. Ill keep an eye out for a video of yours if or when you go with the setup you mentioned. It may make me change my mind about valves lol

    There is substantially less drone with the X Pipe than with the H pipe, but there is still a small amount. Took a 2400 mile road trip and the drone was not tiring or annoying at all. The H pipe had a louder drone that resonated throughout the cabin

    @adamiscoo4 no way dude chargers are amazing cars but they are not better then rx8s. chargers are just all horse power, No handling.. on a track your little automatic would get smoked by a rx8.. chargers and rx8s are in the same class... and it beat the charger and 350z ,370z for the last six years... One thing your car does win at its eatting more gas.

    id like see that charger go around road course any buddy can be fast in straight ..
