To me it seems like you took a look at generically good black cards, threw them into the deck and then built around Sheoldred. Quite a few cards that are missing that are cheaper and would be a much more synergistic flow with what the deck is trying to do weather than have fancy black cards. One card that comes to mind is “fate unraveler”

Cool deck! There are some non basic lands that can really help Lathril that I use, maybe worth checking out if you are interested. My friends absolutely hate my Elf deck!

as someone with a very high end sheoldred deck, you are on the right track! definitely room for improvement, unless you're wanting to keep the level lower than it's maximum potential. if you want upgrades i'd recommend taking more single removal out for wipes (some is still good to keep), more tutors to find answers or win cons more frequently, mana doublers like crypt ghast are very much appreciated (i run 3). my deck is lock/shut down style that runs 12 tutors, 13 wipes, and 20 enchantments that keep opponents from board developing. it doesn't NEED sheoldred as there are 5 other cards now that do damage on draw, which you have a few of em atleast. of course this all depends on how you want the deck to work and how crazy to go about it, i've won games with stuff like contamination/bitter blossom combo and thats just one of many dirty nasty combos in mine lol. also HIGHLY recommend lake of the dead land, it goes nutty! go to moxfield and look up "hugs with spikes" under lordlucario for full deck list
