What happened to the 2 train

This is what I predict will happen as each depot assigned gets the new XE40s: Grand Avenue will send an XD40 over to Flatbush and one of Flatbush’s Orions will be retired. They currently have 10. East New York will either retire one of their Orions, or send a 2014-15 or 2018-19 XD40 over to Fresh Pond and one of Fresh Pond’s Orions will be retired. They currently have 14 while East New York has 6. Michael J. Quill will send a Nova LFS HEV over to Manhattanville and one of Manhattanville’s Orions will be retired. They currently have 19 so either Manhattanville or Quill will have one extra bus. I believe each depot is going to get 20. There’s 60 total in the XE40 order.

Please tell me JFK is almost done with these buses

So I think every time one Orion NG from NYCT bus and another from MTA Bus Company gets replaced at the same time, the Orion at NYCT heads over to MTA Bus due to the slow Nova order.
