2021 November 28th, This is still running terribly on my base ps4 which is odd since I run rdr2, days gone, fallout 4, assassins creed Valhalla etc all amazingly. I just recently switched to ps4 when I had some account issues with Xbox but the odd thing is my base Xbox one ran fallout 76 fine. No frame drops while just playing only time I dropped down to 5-10 frames is while fighting the scorch-beast queen. Seriously unfortunate that there seems to be a performance issue on the base ps4 considering my friend has a ps5 and it runs like the Xbox one version would. If any body has some help with this it would be super appreciated, love this game tons!

I'm on PC and this is still an issue. At the very least it only seems to occur in Singleplayer, but it's ridiculous that this hasn't been fixed yet.

So this probably won't help everyone but I port forwarded fallout 76 servers. Restarted the games and it definitely helped framerate. I have a standard ps4. Was playing with 2 of my friends. Worth a shot for anyone out there having issues.

I haven’t had this but when I use the pump and ads shoot hold ads and let it pump and immediately release ads after it will pump again and with the revolver it does it too ads shoot let it do the animation tho cock it back and release ads it will do it again idk what it is but shits so irritating but it is Bethesda so what can you do

Picked it up for $13 for Black Friday on my original ps4. Terrible framerate/performance. I knew it wasn't going to be an amazing game...figured since they're still adding content two years later that they'd put some money into fixing basic issues...I was wrong. DO NOT BUY.

It’s no big ur base is to crowded for troops to even go on sandbags plus the game regenized that u don’t need them . Get rid of ur walls down there an rebuild

Fallout 76 is a good game but the development need to improve the frame rate more often to order play game better and smooth, but i still love it.

When i use a usb miniventilador on ps4 (and it doesn't turn hot) framerate become stable I put the miniventilador in the opposite side of "on/off" button, at 90º degrees in relation with ps4 (I'm talking about general games, not about fallout)

I just recently bought this game on base PS4, really loving the the game it’s such a fun and interesting world! But damn the frame rate is awful! I posted in the forum and tech support said re-install, so I deleted the game and redownloaded (60GB) and didn’t do anything lol I tried changing install locations and HDD didn’t change anything. It’s literally just poor performance. Especially with open scenery like the lake. Makes me annoyed because it’s such a fun game it’s just hard to play.
