Casio G 511 Bracelet Convertion
There are 2 types of the Casio G-511.
The popular one that most like, is the G-511D.
The other is the G-511, which has the resin strap, not the stainless one.
But no one says you can't put a stainless bracelet on G-511.

The audio went out of sync on the first upload. I've now put it right. It seems to do this a lot on the Elgato, and I don't know why.

It can happen if the battery has died and is left in it too long. But if you are lucky. Changing the battery and resetting the watch could bring it back to life. Pode acontecer se a bateria tiver morrido e for deixada nela por muito tempo. Mas se você tiver sorte. Mudar a bateria e repor o relógio pode trazê-lo de volta à vida.

My problem is this: in learn mode, it catches the code from the remote control, the learning icon flashes in the window, while when you press it then in TV mode, the icon is shown and the LED does not flash, can you suggest something?

It is completely broken but the case is still very good and the other one works but the holes where the bracelet goes in have been torn out. Could you swap the inner workings for me in the other? Sadly you can't order the parts for these watches. The only option you have is to buy a broken one, then use the parts off that to restore yours. That is all I did to put my CMD 40's back to their former glory.
This guy must have to take a day off work when the clocks change.

I have the same watch, got all new bits for it, strap gasket and s/steel screws put a new battery in, and it works apart from it's stopped beeping! Obviously I have done something wrong, but I don't know what!!
You may have lost the spring for the piezo speaker. Just need to find it.

Hi there great video, question for you? I have the same watch I found in my loft i have replaced the battery and the display is stuck on M2 1-1 12:00 00 and doesn’t move it’s frozen I have performed a reset and still stuck tried cleaning etc please help!! Any advice would be appreciated !!
The cage for the buttons maybe making permanent contact with the board. Worse case is that the PCB has died
So at first my tv/vol down button wasn't working at all. I double and triple checked all the contacts are touching. Now my down button when I press it makes the screen go blank. And if I push it too many times it'll freeze the whole watch and I have to reset again. I have all parts including the spring. Any ideas?

I wear mine every day. Replacing the battery was a journey but I found one! Next project is to upgrade the SD card (the storage is literally an OG full size SD card in there lol)
