Isn't there an app store on the mac from which you can download GD. I've heard this is the official mac ver. and that on Steam is probably a knockoff windows ver. Or I may be entirely wrong who knows.
Yeah, you can download GD from the App Store, but only for iPad and iPhone. There is a port for mac, but it's in the wrong aspect ratio and doesn't allow you to use the keyboard in the editor. The official mac version is on Steam.
