This classic works better with the argument beforehand included, where Rimmer insists on going to blue alert. Emphasises why he's so annoyed by the latest excuse
I love the self titled album!!!
I got to see them in 2004. He was so phenomenal live.
"Disintegration is the best album ever" - Stan Marsh
Delightful interview...delightful performance...xxoo..
That is some great writing right there.
Many happy nights in the Pub.. I THINK I was official wobbler number 17
I went to that concert was right in front of Stuart and remember him putting he’s microphone on the floor in front of me and sat down and sang chance , the support band was called kingdom
Oh man, I love this bit. I've been waiting for a chance to say it in my life but so far..... zilch.
I was at this - first gig I went to with my mates - don't remember Guy Chadwick, but I was only 15. They were fabulous - absolutely unstoppable at that time, which a lot of people overlook these days.
Boris Johnson's Plan B 🤔

Best line in the whole show.
Great band to see live 👍

Tommy's Happy dance
Excellent thanks. I was there that night ! Who was the band that supported them ? I can't find the info anywhere , but they did a song called "This is the lemming song". This event was my "Best ever concert" (was also my first concert) , just saw them in Southampton again a few weeks back (2017) , Big country are still great !
Support was Kingdoms (I have one slide of them taken at this gig somewhere). Their lead singer was Guy Chadwick who formed House of Love in the late eighties.
Thanks very much for the swift respone. Have done a bit of research now I know the group and singers name, but don't think I will ever get to hear that track again. His newspaper reports imply that he thought his early stuff (Kingdoms) was rubbish and he had only released one track (which wasn't it). Still , have now listened to a few of the house of love tracks and recognised a couple not knowing before that it was the same guy! Long Shot .....Don't suppose you have the recording of the Kingdoms from that night as well ?
Afraid not. The day before I'd recorded 3 bands in London. I didn't have enough tapes! The slides were taken by someone on the Polytechnic Ents committee who gave them to me when I started there the following October.
Try the email address Comedy Tony posted below.
Where can I buy the album from please, my email Neil.myatt@hotmail.com

where's "swimming with Mr Fairclough" from around 1990 with hits such as Whip Sticks and Leather and Drax Back.... any ideas, my wife overwrote my tape :-(
Yeah, I guess that about says it all! Too Funny!
Funny!
Is this the same group as 'Uncle Barneys and His Atomic Wobblers'???? if so.....looking for 'Soap on A Rope'.
Ya gotta love Uncle Barney
That made me chuckle.
Unfortunately the video was chewed at the end.
Has to be looked at in the context. They'd done loads of ads where people did amazing things and the 2 blokes said 'bet he drinks carling black label' so for this they just base it on the fact he orders it.
