I bought a couple of "cheaper" spinners as the Yankee flippers cost a fortune over here in the UK at first the squirrels spun off/hated them so kept away, Then one little sod taught his mates to "Go with the flow". Now they think they are at a theme park LOL

We were on the Journey's Panama Cruise in January and she has just had a refit Cannot wait to go again !

Thanks for posting this Rupert. Was a fan of Lindisfarne and Alan Hull's music as a youth in the UK. All these years later, it is great to find out more about the man, and hear some songs I'd not heard before.

Massive waste of money that never did any meaningful sat work if any at all, cost a fortune and was sold for pennies.
was involved with Comex Houlder in outfitting this total waste - they had 20 years of spares - what system in the diving industry lasts 20 years without going obsolete - couldn't tell the powers that be - massive waste of taxpayers money!
Probably the RN's worst researched & built heap of Crap! I was involved in it's sea trials - I don't think it passed one of them. This is what happens when people who think they know how to design a diving vessel .... find out they dont!! They only had to look at a proper commercial diving support vessel .... but these "officers" thought they knew better. Cost the UK tax payer Multi Millions - but no one swung from the yard arm at dawn - mores the shame !!

This video took me back to the occasion, in the 1960s, when the mother of one of the other choirboys sang the music hall song “I Want to Sing in Opera” in the local Anglican church hall. That too was very funny. This lady is a VERY skilled singer indeed, having acquired the musical skill to slip from “Eliza Doolittle” mode to operatic mode so seamlessly. It is unsurprising that she is a principal singer in a Gilbert & Sullivan society. Thank you for both the upload and the performance.

No doubt in my mind. Alan was the Bob Dylan of England. Still miss him but his music will always live on with me.

Must agree with Gary Yarker up to a point. Alan Hull was a Brit and a also a staunch Labour Party activist, so it should be the Falklands melody but I think it was too hard to find rhyming words so he choose Malvinas. It was more of a political statement than a loyalty issue. True he could have shown more respect for the British troops and the Falkland islanders that fought and died to regain a British territory illegally occupied by Argentina. Still it is too late to protest as Alan Hull died in November 1995. He was a good song writer and had wrote many good songs which I still listen to and enjoy today.

Thank you, Alan I believe that with all things in life these days, people are wanting things too quick which can upset others. People should relax and talk more and see things from other's point of view. They do not have to change their opinion, just listen and appreciate that people do not see things in the same way. He was also a good socialist, so I'm sure he agreed neither with British imperialism, the occupation of the Falklands by an Argentinian military dictatorship, or Thatcher's blundering intervention (and war crime - the sinking of the Belgrano).
