bro my problem is throttle control, im left handed and have not so great control of my right hand( not sayin im handicap) i jus dont use my right hand for alot of stuff. I accidently made my bike wheelie and whiskey trottled it into the other side of traffic, thank god no cars was on that side. But that shit scarred me mentally, and i havent rode in about 3 months bought my bike back in august. i have the urge to ride it everyday but cant bring myself to do it.

This is generally my advice to new riders. Get a bike your comfortable with then practice. Find empty parking lots or if you can ride around the neighborhood without traffic just keep doing that till you have the basics down. Then you can venture out.

I put ~$11 of Premium in my Rs660, then I party, and it lasts me two fun rides (80-100miles)… if I had to stretch it, I could mayyyyybe get 200 miles on one tank… it isn’t even what people consider a ‘gas-gobbler’, but it gobbles gas in my book.

So glad I found this video. I'm 5'3" and have been a Harley girl (as a passenger) all my life but they are so heavy. I've never owned a bike before and really want one and just got my endorsement this year. I went to a dealership a couple of weeks ago to look at sport bikes cuz I have never been around them. I had a good salesman but I felt discouraged because I could barely fit on just a few of them they were so tall. I got very unsure about a sport bike even though I really want one. But then I started researching short bikers on UA-cam and now I feel better about purchasing one. I been thinking about a Ninja 500 or an R3 would be a good fit. Great video! Thanks for the bump in confidence I needed.

I had a KTM 390 Adventure as a daily for 2 years it was my only transportation from 17 to 18. now at 19 I have a car because the rain and cold was getting annoying lol. The gas was nice spent 7 -8 dollars a week on gas. It was a lot of fun learned a lot in those 2 years, and yes I bought it, not my parents.

I daily my MT10. Some of the things ive notices compared to a car is that motorcycle rquire, Valve checks, and tires every 6,000 or so miles which cam really add up. I still love riding every day i can.

I used to ride all the time. You save so much money riding a motorcycle... It's not even funny. Hundreds of dollars a month. Hopefully I can ride again this spring.

It's not that bad man. Honestly. I'm 6ft and I can still barely flat foot my Hayabusa. If anything you look good on the bike because you don't make it look small. I'm 230 lbs and I feel like even the hayabusa is small for me at times

I’m barely on my tip toes on my supermoto and it’s never been an issue. If I need solid footing I just slide off the seat to one side

Honestly I think alot of older people tell you need to be able to flat foot your bike. You don't need to flat foot. I'm don't have this problem but if there is a will there is a way.

Im 5ft4 also. MultiStrada, VStrom, etc. Get the bike you want. You will tip over....its OK. After a few years you'll get better. Nothing but a thing.
