It’s a shame that Microsoft only cares about if the games are making money they don’t care if it’s fun as long as they scam us out of maybe $25-$60 as chai said in the last level, this is so…….corporate!

Not sure why this has so few views but it's a nice, well written video, about a topic that is dear to my heart, so kudos. Several topics in fact, In recent years I've been a big advocate of bite sized games, and this one looks great. It's a shame that a game publisher has the power to delist things like that at all, hopefully it will at least make it's way to abandonware sites so people can still enjoy it.

The lore of both games (well, all three if you're separating Returns) can be a little hard to piece together since it's literally in pieces, but it's really interesting. If you're curious, check out The Grovetender. Some of his videos can be a little long, but they are engaging and very well put together. Learning the saga of the brothers Providence and Mithrix and the origins of the planet was way deeper than I expected. Stumbled onto a few of your videos by chance. Really good stuff! Keep it up man!

The majority of this series's fans have probably barely touched an NES game, it couldn't have ever been as successful as it is if only 80s kids found it appealing. The only NES games I've bothered beating and playing more than once is Metroid and Kirby's Adventure, and that's purely because I'm big Metroid and Kirby fan, I couldn't give less of a damn about any other NES era classic. Yet Shovel Knight is the absolute pinnacle of quality in my eyes, easy Top 10 of all time for me.

I really only liked playing as plague knight. That was my take away

I thought you were some huge reviewing channel given the quality of the video, and yet you weren't (yet). Also I believe (but could be mistaken because of dementia) that this game was playable a while before it's release date, it just feels like it's been ages more than 4 years ago. I also love the innocence of some tips you give, mainly the time, don't stress it!

yeah the story is hard to understand as its told through small dialogue pieces and especially the logs for items and monsters but it is really good once you understand it imo, the next dlc also kinda builds on it which is quite nice.

From the day it came out, I knew it was gonna be a _game of the year_ in at least one category. The game is amazing, but it wasn't a lot of people's cup of tea. Hell, it wasn't even _my_ cup of tea, but i loved the game regardless.

This game is awesome. I play it everyday on ps4. I got lucky with this game. Stadia gave it for free if you were a pro member (RIP Google Stadia). Then I heard about the shutdown of it. Got sad. On a random day, I was at 5 below. They were selling ROR 1 & 2 for only $5, of course. I love telling people about how I got into ROR

Game plays at 20 fps on my rig (I'm poor ok? I have no spare money for a new one) and I still play this game a LOT. Just to show how good this game is

If you know how to play, the clock does not matter. You can spend 30 mintues on every stage doing nothing, and still do fine. On the hardest difficulty. Good luck on your runs, it's very fun exploring this game for the first time!

There are many bad tips out there, the worst one is that you have to rush the game to avoid the difficulty spike, but if you rush you don't get a good build with items which is exactly what make you stronger enough to survive. I recommend watching videos from @RacesVideos, he's an excelent ror2 player

A big misconception: time doesn't matter as long as you're looting, while gaining items you get stronger then your enemies do in the same amnt of time, this applies to all difficulties, from drizzle to eclipse 8

Fuel array is something you use to unlock a character named REX and it blows up when you fall below 50% health

i got a mod that opens a legendary chest at the bazaar if you bring it the fuel array. mods rule.

imo, it's the best videogame
