Thank you! It worked!
What happend to the old ceiling fans
I took them out, we got some different ones
Oh man, I love the northeast but wow his area is nice!!
Northwest!
That's as bad as ours we got free, and paid 3700 to move it
put a support wall on that opening if not the roof will cave in on itself i moved and set mobile homes for 30 plus years and we did a job for a customer 200 units but they were all built in the early 60's 12 wide mobile homes i have axles that would do a number of different width axles i would sell a set of axles for 800 bucks and i buy the axles from another guy we sold our axles to i buy a set for 250 2 axles 4 tires and i sold them 800 for making the useable on different sizes frames
Looking good but you would be much better off with minisplints instead of propane for the central heat.
One day
well done
Around Detroit Michigan no snow yet.
Nice. We’ve had one snow event here in north Idaho so far. The ski hill outside of town has got over 4’ already this year
So lets do the math. They paid $1 for this item. They had to make about 57 dump runs. Each dump run costs about $250 to $500 for what they were dumping. They had to replace the entire walls, floor, and most of the roof. The had to replace all the appliances and electrical and plumbing and ventilation systems. Doing all that adds up really quickly. They also had to replace the foundation which all of that would cost nearly $150,000 to $600,000. Then they also had to get permits and move the thing which is another $250,000 and that is before they are even 1% done.
You missed a couple zeros, we’re in about $25 million and about 3% done plus with all the sweat equity I put into the house and the land it’s close to $500 million
@@koacres You should have just built the place from scratch. I built the frame and about 80% of a house in high school back in 2008. I also have worked in dump runs for smaller loads but know bigger loads require roll away dumpsters which the cheapest roll a way in my city costs around $200 and is quite cheap compared to most. I learned however building the house from scratch is cheaper for parts and would actually make a far better place. Hell to build a cookie cutter type of those houses it actually costs not as much as you might think. For all the wood, dry wall, nails, screws, and shingles, and windows it costed about $24,000 in 2008 for a 1750 square foot 3 bedroom with 2 bath and living room and kitchen and washer and dryer room then do to how they were able to get the permits pretty cheaply they only had to actually pay for the delivery truck was was used and they shipped it at night like around 3 am and including shipment the total cost was about $48,000. The cost of shipping it was $20,000 and it costed $4,000 for the foundation the house was going to be built upon. If going off the conversation rate from 2008 which was about $28,000 for the materials for 80% meaning everything but carpet and the actual appliances and fixtures it still should be under $150,000 to this day to fully build a house like that from scratch. Well we didn't add the insulation ether but we blatantly had everything else including the putty. Messed up fact was my hammering skills were not the best but what the teacher used me for was the person that would over see everything and keep people on track and make sure everything was level and properly aligned. My eyes are still really insanely stupidly good and I can see level without an item and I got so good at measuring just with my eyes I can measure with just my eyes but I still use a proper tape measurer. I wanted to do more work on the actual house but I had to be the foreman sadly but I was good foreman. I mostly let the others do the jobs they were good at without getting in their way and only telling them to tone down the goofing off but not stop the goofing off completely. I learned that the best way to keep the crew on track is not to be annoying nor get in their way nor always rubber necking their work but to let them do what they are good at and let the people who know how to do the job do the job without getting in the way nor telling them what to do. I was not as good as they were so why should they listen to someone who can't do the job. The know how to do the job so let them do the job the way they do it. Jus check the work and make sure no gaps and its level and done to code which it was. Messed up fact is normally it takes 2 to 3 school years to get a house to 80% but we did it in less than 1 school year. We did it a head of schedule and messed up fact is normally schools don't do the shingles nor the windows nor the putty over the dry wall. Normally its suppose to be 60% complete but we got it actually thinking about it the really only things left was painting the wall, adding the floor which our floor we put in was the base under floor not the part people actually walk on so they still needed to add the real floor and then they needed to add the washer, drier, kitchen sink, 2 bathroom sinks, the 2 toilets, the 1 bathtub shower, stove, and fridge. Basically painting the inside should take about a few hours. Then next day put the carpet and other type of floor for the kitchen and bathrooms which should take a few hours for 1 day. Then 3rd day hook up the bathtub, sinks, stove, and fridge. Basically 3 days of legit work and then the place would have been ready. Hell on the day they added the floor they could have the people place the floor then instantly have the people who put in the appliances do their job but most likely they would wait a few days for the paint to dry then wait a few days for the floor to settle but in truth that place would have been fully ready in a week. The really awesome thing is we actually finished about a month and a half before school ended. Really messed up fact is I even used the time when we couldn't work on the house to build my dad a work bench and I built a dog stair case for the dogs at my mothers house to be able to get onto the bed and off the bed. I used 1 piece of plywood and I cut the side shape into a 4 step stair case. There was a really nice piece of plywood in the random wood bin and I then made the internal frame from 2 by 2s and 2 by 4s. Then I cut the steps out and used only screws I dipped in wood glue as I screwed them in. That stair case made from scrap pieces lasted until last year from heavy used. My dad still uses his work bench. Actually I made the work bench in 2007 for the final project for the year and to be able to prove I can work on the house the next year. That is a 17 to almost 18 year old work bench.
Man you can do everything 👍
Amazing! Can you estimate cost to date?
Bout $15k so far
Whatever you do both of you or at least one you need to read the bible daily for life. At your ages you should have 4000 hours and 6000 for the challenges facing you. Normally it would be 2000 and 3000 get the king james try to get no less than an hour a day or several hours in a day get a bible calender to increase that. Play audio. Yourjust lucky so far. Dont ever get divorced or move love 💕 your mother in the lord and go to church so no matter what that no matter what you go every sunday. And forget drugs try fasting instead make friends with the pastor elders and get under the church prayer covering god bless you
We read the Bible and are followers of Jesus. Couldn’t do it without the Lord in our lives
Dude, it might have been cheaper and easier to pull out the appliances and wood stove and a few other knick-knacks you liked, saved the windows, doors and good lumber and just scrapped it down to the frame and had yerself a good FRAME to build onto. From my experience, that's a whole lot easier than running around looking for all the problems to fix. Would take a lot less time too. Register it as a new build.
the dang wood stove itself was worth $1
❤❤❤❤❤
Looks good!
Yes I am very happy with my Builder Pros❤
If I ever needed you cher
I was wondering what happened with you guys.
Alive and kickin!
@@koacres : Good to hear.
Nice property lots of room for everything. 🙂
Very cool property!
Tell me more about your pellet stove please.
You’re doing an awesome job……love all your doing ….God bless you and all your family…….including the animals…….❤
its def not worth more than $1 now lol
County accessor said it’s worth $7100 when I first got it on there haha
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Why didn’t you go solar with battery’s for off grid
Per the agreement when I bought the property. I said I’d bring electric in. I got the land discounted because of that, they had two other lots that I had to trench the electric by so it made them sell quicker
Wow what a great location for this home!!! Thanks for sharing
Wow. Just pay for the move and repairs... violá!
Need a T25 syncro
Great job. Everything is looking great I’ve been watching you for a long while now ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Im curious as to how towing in mountains downhill works without an exhaust brake. Im a long haul trucker so i count on the exhaust brake. But a gas engine doesnt have it. Maybe go down hill in 2nd gear but then you have to worry about the speed demons running into you. I own a gmt800 burb Z71 4x4 and i want to overland it and tow with it. Just havent done it yet.
Definitely don’t want to have a heavy trailer or be without trailer brakes
Please hard duct your dryer not flex pipe. I live in an old trailer with one of those flex pipes, and my dryer duct has to be cleaned out every year. Not only that, but the squirrel cage inside our dryer has to be cleaned out as well. With the hard duct it has less areas for the lint to snag on., plus you run a huge risk of mice in the winter getting in as well.
A friend of mine almost died from Mold buying a cheap trailer and staying there only a few times a month
looking forward to the finished product...............lots of possibilities
I love my woodland mills ... free lumber!!! Subscribed!!!
Wow...nice piece of property. I respect your hustle for the Fam brother. You get stuff done. Lost art for sure. Good clip today.
If you happen to know which direction the prevailing wind tends to come from on your property then try to make sure the pigsty faces either ninety or one hundred and eighty degrees to that wind to help shield the pig.
Will do! Thanks for the intel
Binged watched all your videos after you bought the mobile home. Great job and beautiful family!!!
I just have a soft spot for mobile homes. I just had to subscribe- what a great job you are doing!
I’ve been watching since the purchase of the MH. I watched the tow in, and at that time, I thought you were crazy. Dude, you have done a fantastic job on all of it. Well thought out and impressive! Keep up the good work. I look forward to your posts. Blessings, H2H 🙏🏻
To much taking and nothing shows you doing anything, this sucks big time
Rookie filming skills 😂
What a beautiful property (forest) you have there and the goats expression as you walked back into their area was classic.
The goats are pretty funny lil guys
MOVERS WILL not MOVE MOBILE HOMES THESE DAYS IF THey are older than 10 yrs and parks will not rent a lot to you either. I used to escort oversize loads and the truck drivers would all tell me mobile homes fall apart when towin. then you got watered areas on sand/dirt that sink and not enough room to turn corners.I wonder how long and wide this home is. Cracks in wall and ceiling and floors not a good sign to tow. I would have put alot more axles before towing. Owners just probably happy to get it off there land. ?Your land looks to be out in a private country. Try to tarp leaking areas until you get your windows or roof sealed. Covered roof additions on top due help with leakage.heat and snow fall. My neighbor sunk his down close to ground level and covered it with stucco. Can not even tell it is a mobile home. I wish you luck also. Moving was always the worst part of it. Vonnie in Vegas
It was pretty sketchy moving it’s 66’ long. We’re getting it all fixed up, should be living in it by spring time
Awesome views must be idaho
Is it a cement floor under the sand. I hope it is so if anyone thinks they can put plants in there and let the water run out of the pot anywhere it wanted, wont rot the regular floor out of ignorance.
It’s compacted soil under the sand
Don’t have that much snow here in the UK but great content for others thankyou 🎉🎉🎉
I don't really understand the purpose of getting the home, surely building from new the same thing is going to be similar, if not less when you consider moving costs then the cost of fixing the moving and all the improvements and additions
Beautiful place to raised your family,so much work done in such a short time ,blessed your heart, lovely family you have ,thanks for sharing !
Can I come up with a name for it? How about . . . "The Hunter Biden Love Shack" . . .
Not enough booger sugar in it to call it that
Damn bro 😢
