Even though salt has some electrolyte properties sugar solution is not relevant. Your gadget's difference of electrodes is only the color of the connecting caps. We can see all the plates are connected together. It cannot produce any voltage as there is no voltage difference. I can not understand why you mislead the people by this kind of videos.

False, an AC motor does not work with a DC battery. Also, you can't make a battery without a cathode and an anode of different material. Possibly the motor has a battery inside or some mechanism. The outside wire is just a switch that closes the circuit.
