Loud engines, leathers and helmets, but when you get down to it, riders are still just squishy people zipping through traffic next to giant metal machines that could kill them if a driver sneezes or decides to text a friend.

Car on fire – Cambridge A10 Milton
Mercedes Vito van on fire on the outskirts of Milton/Cambridge near the A10.
By the time I arrived, the fire department was already notified by the owner/driver of the van who was waiting at a safe distance. Firefighters arrived soon after and put the fire out in a matter of seconds.
The fire seems to have started in the engine bay since the bonnet was open as the driver probably tried to work out what the problem was in first instance.
This is a mixture of dashcam and mobile phone footage, but due to being pitch black the quality isn't great.

car driver may have had some shxtty comment about the rider over taking, but the bike rider after that was completetly in the wrong.. he put his passenger at risk, if he has L plates he shouldnt be carrying a pillion. If you get that angry when driving then you shouldn’t be driving, driving a vehicle on a public road is a huge responsibility, one mistake and we can accidentally hurt someone.
That bike is not powerful enough to safely get past cars. In addition, you don't overtake in hatch area before crossing and you do not overtake coming up to a junction where cars could pull out to turn right.

As an aside, you are far more vulnerable on a bike, the idiot car driver could well have been a total nutter and just used the car to ram you ..... its just not worth getting into something like this - you end up in hospital or the mortuary and he just has a damaged car that is fixable... 😉
