Goodness, you are brave. Have you run a P&L in this? How does it look from a financial perspective? I’d be concerned about the value of the restored building verses the cost to restore. You gotta be talking £5m to restore? Building worth £3m max when done?

The best kind of account, from someone who lived there. Useful links to the Priroy too, didnt know about Mr Campbell after The General, Then Sir John Craig, then rented by the Blests (the Father and his team of architects desighed Livingston new town there) then the WIlsons. Fantastic to hear the Warnocks contribution to the tomato and fruit growing industry...heres hoping once restored, that your efforts are rewarded as the Clyde Valley attracts even more visitors. A great find!! :)

I love the fact you have a vision that gave you the courage to bring this magnificent old building back to its former glory. One less Historic building disappearing into the history books, for that I commend you. what a beautiful setting right on the River Clyde. There is something special about places that have stood the test of time and are still standing. Magical even. I stay local to this around 5 minutes away, and it makes me smile to know that at least this building wont end up the same as the Cambusnethan Priory which is only a mile from here. If there is anything I could do to help it would be a pleasure to be part of this journey.
