a good thing to remind ppl is that they’re all still the same breed, these categories are only to specify the body type and features they have. i have a roman rott that was selectively bred to have the english mastiff look and a darker brown spotting; just like some ppl prefer rotts who are smaller,have a more tan coloration in their spotting, & have shorter noses. american rotts are just the in-between that some breeders get out of litters where the parents have very different looks.

I have had big intelligent working dogs all my life, however when I retired I realised I was not strong enough to handle a large dog so got a shih Tzu Jesus the little shit is the most stubborn dog I have ever had, he runs the house and lays down the law. Never again!!! Luv him to bits

I have a Boston Terrier that can be outside in the garden for hours (she likes that), and I can't hear a thing from her; she only barks when the doorbell rings, very quiet dog.

I have 4 papillons currently. They are smart! One of mine doesn’t like other people. The other 3 love everyone. All do agility. One does confirmation. Just be careful, being so smart they can also learn things you may not want.

They are the best dogs ever. We have two young kids , never had any issues , in fact our toy poodle is so patient and so kind. We had other dogs before but toy puddles are the best. He is also very friendly with other people.

My 16 year old tri, female Basenji passed away one year ago on Holy Saturday 2023. She was basically silent. Yodeled 3 times in her life, one of those times was a week before she passed. My favorite being. Extremely smart. She was well behaved, and for my family was easy to train, and wasn't destructive at all. Miss her more each day. If content should be quiet. Love you Sensen!

We walk our fur baby everyday, and we hear barking equally from large breed dogs as smaller dog breeds. That's what dogs were historically bred for: vigilance and security - big or small or medium.

A Boston Terrier is the number 1 barkless dog without doubt, in 7 years I've never heard mine scream or shout, if you want a dog that loves both activity and rest, get a Boston Terrier because they're simply the best 💛👍

The Boston Terrier is a great family dog and easy to trane, in my experience. Small but brave. Great with kids and loves couch time and can handle walks.

My friend has a toy poodle and the dog's a boy. They do not shed. He is aggressive and when I first met him, he kept trying to bite me and he still does, but I dodge them. However, he barely barks and he enjoys belly rubs. He is very agile and is good with fetch. They brought him to another friend's house with a chihuahua and he kept attacking her. He also likes to do stuff his way, but with training, I think he could be the best dog in the world!

We had a Basset Hound named Leo! He was a sweet guy. But the video insists that Basset Hounds don’t shed. Yes, they do.

I had a basenji mix rescue for 13 years. She was a wonderful pet, very rowdy at times but always my Annie Girl. Very protective. I lost her April 15th, 2023 and I still miss her every day. So blessed to have been her human.

Such a shame that breeders have bred in the trait of a small skull for the cavalier king charles. Many are left with brains too large for the skull resulting in a lifetime of extreme pain or even early death.
